Postgraduate students at Gurugram University who still have papers to clear from their final or terminal semester get a special chance next week. The university's final date sheet fixes these re-appear exams from Monday, 12 October to Thursday, 15 October 2026, all in the evening session from 2 pm to 5 pm.
The final date sheet for PG final and terminal semester re-appear special chance examinations, October 2026 is dated 5 October and was posted on the university website on 7 October by the Controller of Examinations.
Exam centres will be as shown on each candidate's admit card and in the building notice. Students should check both, since the date sheet itself does not name a centre.
Which programmes are on the sheet
The papers are from fourth-semester courses in the MCA, M.Sc Physics, MA Geography, MBA, MBA (Business Analytics), MA Hindi, MA Psychology, M.Com and M.Sc Clinical Embryology programmes.
12 October: Soft Computing (MCA), Statistical Mechanics (M.Sc Physics), Natural Resource Management (MA Geography) and Corporate Social Responsibility and Social Entrepreneurship (listed under MBA Business Analytics).
13 October: a multidisciplinary paper listed under MA Geography, and Natural Language Processing for MBA (Business Analytics).
14 October, the busiest day: Entrepreneurship (listed under MA Geography), Data Visualization with Power BI (MBA Business Analytics), Condensed Matter Physics II (M.Sc Physics), Fundamentals of Statistics (listed under MCA), Internet of Things (listed under MA Hindi), Employee Relations and Compliance (MBA) and Preimplantation Genetic Screening (M.Sc Clinical Embryology).
15 October: Research Methodology (MA Geography), Data Science and Visualization (MCA), Entrepreneurship and Innovation (MBA Business Analytics), Atomic and Molecular Physics (M.Sc Physics), Stress, Coping and Health (MA Psychology), Corporate Finance (M.Com), Relational Database Management and SQL (MBA) and Quality Control and Risk Management in ART (Clinical Embryology).
Match by paper ID, not by name
Several rows pair a programme with a multidisciplinary or skill paper from another department, so the course code does not always match the degree name. An MA Hindi row on 14 October, for instance, carries an Internet of Things paper with an MCA course code. Students should find their exam by the course code and paper ID printed on their admit card, not only by the programme name.
Anyone who finds a paper missing, or a clash between two papers on the same day, should raise it with the examination branch before 12 October. The university's email for conduct of exams is conduct@gurugramuniversity.ac.in.
Rules in the exam hall
The date sheet carries four general instructions. Check the question paper and answer book as soon as you get them, and report any mismatch to the centre superintendent before you start writing; complaints after the exam will not be entertained. Mobile phones, smart watches and scientific or programmable calculators are not allowed. No extra answer sheet will be given.
In some subjects the question paper may be in English only, but candidates can answer in Hindi or English, as they ticked on the exam form. Language papers are the exception.
A quick checklist for exam week
Download the admit card as soon as it is issued and check your name, roll number and every paper listed against the date sheet. Find the building notice for your centre a day early. Since all papers start at 2 pm, plan for Gurugram's afternoon traffic and aim to be at the centre well before time.
