CBSE opens CTET 22nd edition application correction window till 10 Sep

The Central Board of Secondary Education has opened a short online correction window for the 22nd Edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test. Public Notice F.No.: CBSE/CTET/December-2026, Dated: 07.09.2026, is a bilingual two-page CTET Unit file. CreationDate on the local PDF is Mon Sep 7 07:58:45 2026 UTC, which is 13:28 IST. The S3 upload path ends in 20260907461266783.pdf. The English page and the Hindi page carry the same dates and the same hard stop after 10.09.2026.
As notified vide Public Notice dated 08.05.2026, the online application process for the 22nd Edition of CTET was initially open from 11.05.2026 to 10.06.2026. Subsequently, vide Public Notice dated 25.08.2026, an additional opportunity was provided to all eligible candidates who could not avail themselves of the earlier application window, and the online application portal was opened from 25.08.2026 to 01.09.2026. Those two prior windows explain who is already inside the system before this correction pass.
Correction window dates and who may edit
The facility for online correction in particulars, as applicable, will be available on the official CTET website https://ctet.nic.in from 07.09.2026 to 10.09.2026. Candidates who had successfully submitted their applications during the earlier application window from 11.05.2026 to 10.06.2026 may also make corrections in their particulars, as applicable, during the above correction window. That sentence matters for the first-window cohort: they are not locked out of this edit pass.
No correction shall be allowed after 10.09.2026 under any circumstances. The notice does not invent a late-fee extension, a third application reopen, or a paper-based edit route. After 10 September, the particulars on the submitted form stand as filed for this edition.
What this window is and what it is not
Treat 07.09.2026 to 10.09.2026 as a particulars-correction window on ctet.nic.in, not as a fresh chance to start an application from scratch. The additional application opportunity already closed on 01.09.2026. If you never submitted in either of the two application windows named above, this correction notice does not reopen registration for you.
If you did submit successfully in the May-June window or in the 25 August to 1 September window, open https://ctet.nic.in during 7-10 September and correct only the particulars the portal allows. The public notice uses the phrase as applicable, which means the online form controls which fields remain editable. Do not assume every demographic or preference field will open.
Keep this CTET correction file distinct from other CBSE September filings already on the Education Desk, including NTC registration extension and Class XII supplementary verification or re-evaluation windows. Those are different products and different portals. CTET edits run only through ctet.nic.in under this F.No. CBSE/CTET/December-2026 notice.
The notice is signed by the Director (CTET). The address block names CTET Unit, CBSE Integrated Office Complex, Sector-23, Phase-1, Dwarka, New Delhi-110077. Candidates should rely on the official CTET website for the live correction screen and for later admit-card or city-intimation updates for the 22nd Edition.
Practical checklist before the 10 September cut: log in on ctet.nic.in; review every editable field against your certificates; save and re-check the confirmation screen; do not wait for the final evening of 10.09.2026 if your particulars need a change. The notice gives no grace hour after that date.
Public Notice F.No.: CBSE/CTET/December-2026 dated 07.09.2026 on 20260907461266783.pdf is the 22nd Edition CTET online correction window. The 07.09.2026 to 10.09.2026 ctet.nic.in facility and the no-correction-after-10.09.2026 hard stop are from that file alone.
