What the prices tell buyers

The striking point is how cheap noise cancellation has become on boAt's store. Three ANC models, the Prime 513 ANC, the Prime 700 ANC and the Plus 421 ANC, sell for Rs 1,499 to Rs 1,599. The Prime 700 ANC carries the highest noise cancellation figure of the three, at 48dB, for the same Rs 1,499 as the 32dB Prime 513 ANC.

Battery claims are also not tied to price. The Rs 1,199 Airdopes 181 Pro lists 100 hours, while the Rs 4,449 Nirvana Ivy Pro lists 50 hours. Buyers who want long battery life rather than premium audio features can save by staying in the Airdopes line.

The playback hours and noise cancellation ratings are boAt's own claims and usually include the charging case. Real results vary with volume and ANC use. Check return and warranty terms on the product page before ordering, as these differ by product and seller.
