AP NTRUHS opens free exit for PG Dental Phase-1 seats till 28 September

VIJAYAWADA: Dr NTR University of Health Sciences has opened a free exit window for candidates allotted PG Dental seats in Phase-1 under Competent Authority Quota for 2026-27. Notification No.5148/EA2/PG/2026 dated 25 September lets Phase-1 allottees resign so they can join All India Quota Round-2 counselling.

Resignation is available from 25 September until 3:00 PM on 28 September. Candidates must visit the allotted college, resign from the Phase-1 seat and submit the undertaking in the format annexed to the notice. Principals must enter resignations in the college login and freeze reported, not-reported and resigned data by 4:00 PM on 28 September, then email a signed copy to appgadmissions2021@gmail.com.

What colleges must return

Principals shall return original certificates and the tuition and other fees collected to candidates who resign. Failure to complete the portal and email steps renders the resignation null and void under the notice.

Once free exit is used, the vacated seat cannot be claimed again by that candidate and will not be available to them in Phase-III. Resigned candidates may still take part in Phase-III counselling as per eligibility. Vacancies from free exit go into Phase-III.

Hard stops

No extension of the free exit deadline will be given. Dual reporting in AIQ and State Quota is prohibited and can bring disqualification. Candidates weighing an MCC AIQ Round-2 seat against their state Phase-1 college should finish the college resignation well before the 3:00 PM cut on 28 September.
