AP NTRUHS moves MBBS Sports skill test to 28 September at Nagarjuna University

VIJAYAWADA: Dr NTR University of Health Sciences has rescheduled the skill test for candidates who applied under the Sports and Games category for MBBS and BDS admissions under Competent Authority Quota for 2026-27. The new date is 28 September at 8:00 AM at Acharya Nagarjuna University Campus, Guntur (Synthetic Athletic Track).

File No.5156/MBBS/BDS/EA1/2026 (Sports), dated 24 September, says the shift follows instructions of Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh authorities because of heavy rains and adverse weather. An earlier notice had pointed to 25 September at the same venue.

Who must attend

Candidates who applied under the Sports and Games category for CQ MBBS or BDS seats must report at the track by 8:00 AM on 28 September without fail. Remaining terms stay the same as the 22 September notice. Bring the documents and kit that notice required; the reschedule note does not rewrite the test format.

Copies of the reschedule order go to the Vice-Chairman and Managing Director, SAAP; the District Sports Development Officer, Guntur; and the Registrar, Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur.

Sports category priority for state MBBS and BDS seats depends on this skill test. Missing the rescheduled session can drop a claim for that reservation path for 2026-27. Candidates travelling from other districts should plan overnight stays around Guntur rather than risk monsoon delays on the morning of 28 September.
