GURUGRAM: Airia Mall in Sector 68 is one of the malls that residents along Sohna Road and the newer southern sectors use as their nearest weekend option. Its official website sums it up as more than 115 brands, 10 sit-down restaurants, a cinema, games and events, under the line Gurgaon's Happy Place.

The mall says it is built for weekday shopping, a night out with friends or a family weekend. That pitch is mall copy, but the details behind it are useful for planning, because the site lists clear timings and a long services list that many malls do not publish at all.

Mall timings on the website are 11 am to 9:30 pm on weekdays and 11 am to 10 pm on weekends. Food and beverage outlets keep slightly longer hours, 11 am to 10 pm on weekdays and 11 am to 10:30 pm on weekends, and the site says restaurants operate until midnight. The phone number listed is +91 7428720050.

Three entertainment names lead the experiences page. Smaaash is described as a mix of sports simulations, virtual reality games and dining. Fun City is pitched as a family entertainment centre with arcade games, rides and play areas, and the mall says it houses rides such as Paradrop VR, Air Racer, Drop and Twist, Disk O 16 and a bumper ring. Cinepolis runs the cinema, with tickets booked through the usual apps.

The dining page names Hydrama, Zoca Cafe, Pind Balluchi, Taste of Sikkim, C2H5OH and Barista Diner among its outlets. The Taste of Sikkim brand's own website lists its Airia unit on the third floor, which helps if you are heading there for momos and want to save a walk. C2H5OH is a bar, so families should factor that in when choosing a table.

The dine page also carries a list of restaurant offers marked with asterisks. Dalimss News is not repeating them here because they change often and come with conditions. Check the terms with the outlet before ordering if an offer matters to your budget.

Services, parking and what to check before you go

The services page is longer than most. It lists accessible parking for people with special needs, accessible washrooms, baby care rooms, strollers, wheelchairs, complimentary Wi-Fi, drinking water, an information desk, lost and found and medical assistance. For drivers, there is car and bike parking, valet parking, a car wash, electric car charging and a rest area for drivers.

Two parking details stand out for families. The mall says it has a dedicated parking area for women and another for senior citizens and families. It also lists child safety wristbands, which are worth asking for at the desk if you are bringing small children to Fun City on a crowded Sunday.

There is also an on-call services list that is unusual for a mall: a mechanic, shoe repair, laundry and a veterinary contact. The site does not explain how each one works, so ask at the information desk rather than assuming a walk-in counter exists.

The events page is less current. Its upcoming section says new events are being planned, while the past events list runs through a 2024 Dandiya Night on 6 October 2024, a World of Ramayan installation from 15 October to 10 November 2024, a White Christmas programme in December 2024 and a children's science and craft event called Candylicious. No 2026 festive event was listed when Dalimss News checked on 5 October 2026.

Neither Smaaash nor Fun City lists ride or game prices on the mall's experiences page. Arcade centres usually work on a loaded card or a time-based pass, and rates can differ on weekends, so set a budget with children before you reach the counter and ask what a card covers.

The restaurant hours are the detail most likely to trip people up. The mall says restaurants operate until midnight even though the mall itself shuts at 9:30 pm on weekdays and 10 pm on weekends. If you are planning a late dinner, ask the restaurant which entrance and parking level stay open after the shops close, so you are not stuck looking for an exit.

The about page counts screens, parking spaces, stores and food court seats, but the numbers did not load in the version Dalimss News read, so this feature does not quote them. The store directory linked from the home page is the place to check whether a specific brand is still in the mall before you drive across for it.

With Navratri and Dussehra coming up this month, it is reasonable to expect malls across the city to announce festive programmes. Until Airia posts one on its own page, readers should treat social media posts and forwarded flyers with caution and check the mall's events page or call the listed number.

A practical plan for a family evening is to arrive in the late afternoon, give children an hour at Fun City or Smaaash, eat before 8 pm when the food court fills, and catch a film afterwards if the timings line up. On weekdays the mall closes at 9:30 pm, so a late show will mean leaving through a quieter building.

For comparison with other malls, Dalimss News has a family weekend plan for Ambience Mall near the Delhi border, and a DLF CyberHub dining directory explainer for readers who prefer an open-air food street over a closed mall.

Airia's website footer credits Lake Shore as the operator. This feature relies only on the mall's own pages and does not rate shops, restaurants or rides. Timings and services are as published on 5 October 2026.
