MoE extends Yuva Sangam Phase VII online registration to 31 August 2026

The 18 August cut-off for Yuva Sangam Phase VII is no longer the cut-off. The Ministry of Education has pushed online registration to 31 August 2026, reopening the form for youth aged 18 to 30 who missed the earlier close. The extension was reported on 21 August 2026.

Applicants include students of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), National Service Scheme (NSS) participants and young professionals. Registration runs through the official Yuva Sangam / Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat portal at https://ebsb.aicte-india.org/. Offline forms are not the channel described for this phase.

Yuva Sangam sits under the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat framework. Phase VII is built as short educational-cultural exposure tours — typically five to seven days — that take participants to paired States and Union Territories. About 20 nodal HEIs, spanning IITs, IIMs, central universities and NITs, have been identified to support hosting and coordination.

Register on the ministry-linked portal — not lookalike forms

Create or update a profile only on ebsb.aicte-india.org. Read the Phase VII instructions before submitting personal data. Screenshots and third-party links circulating on social media should be checked against that URL first.

The extension does not guarantee a tour seat. Registration is step one. Allocation to a State or Union Territory pairing and a tour batch follows the programme’s selection process after the window closes. Candidates who registered before 18 August should check their portal dashboard for further instructions rather than assume they must re-apply, unless the portal specifically asks for a fresh submission.

What a Phase VII tour looks like on paper

Programme materials describe multi-day visits built around culture, development initiatives, people-to-people interaction and related themes in a host State or UT other than the participant’s own. Exact itineraries vary by pairing and by the nodal institution managing a given batch.

The roughly 20 nodal HEIs support logistics and local coordination for incoming and outgoing groups. Applicants do not negotiate tour dates directly with colleges. They register centrally and wait for communication through the official channel after registration closes.

The ministry’s 21 August update is a deadline change for online registration. It does not rewrite the 18–30 age band, the HEI–NSS–young professional eligibility frame, or the five-to-seven-day tour format already tied to Phase VII.

A short checklist before 31 August

Confirm age within 18–30. Keep HEI enrolment or other eligibility proof ready as the form requires. Use a working mobile number and email for OTP and updates. Submit on ebsb.aicte-india.org well before the last evening — OTP delays and portal load are routine risks at month-end.

Campus NSS and student-welfare offices may circulate local guidance. Nodal institutions often do. The binding registration deadline and form, however, remain those on the central portal. Young professionals and NSS participants who are not campus-based should use the same official URL, not informal lookalike forms.

As of Saturday, 22 August 2026, more than a week remains before the extended close. The ministry has already moved the date once, from 18 August to 31 August. Planning on another extension would be unsafe unless a fresh official update appears. Yuva Sangam Phase VII is an educational-cultural exchange under Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat, not a job recruitment drive. Participation still depends on successful registration and later selection for a paired tour.
