VARANASI: Four research-employment notices at IUCTE and IIT-BHU cover different qualifications and appointment types. The nearest stated cutoff is IUCTE’s wording, before October 24; the IIT-BHU calls require separate checks rather than one common deadline.

IUCTE: check the October 24 wording

The October 14 IUCTE advertisement invites Indian citizens for three Research Assistant posts, one per project. Each is temporary for six months at Rs 37,000 monthly. The Inter University Centre for Teacher Education at BHU specifies “before 24.10.2026”, without a closing hour.

For eastern Uttar Pradesh digital-pedagogy research, applicants need MEd, MA Education or MA Educational Technology with 55% or equivalent, plus NET, MPhil or PhD in education. The Kerala multidisciplinary-curriculum project requires MEd or MA Education with 55% or equivalent; a doctorate is desirable, not compulsory. The physical-science laboratory project requires MSc/MTech in physics, physical science or science education with at least 55%; NET/SLET or previous UGC-funded Research Assistant experience receives preference.

Email the enclosed application format, self-attested academic records and experience details to admin@iucte.ac.in. Apply separately for each project. Shortlisted candidates will receive email intimation for the October 30 interview. Interview travel and daily allowances are not payable.

IIT-BHU: two fellowships and a director’s contract

IIT-BHU’s Mathematical Sciences JRF notice concerns neural-network analysis of mathematical models. Its upload is listed as October 21, but the document has no visible issue date. It allows 21 days from advertisement, so applicants should confirm the calendar deadline with principal investigator Prof. Rajeev rather than calculate it from the upload.

One temporary post requires postgraduate mathematics with at least 55% or equivalent and NET/GATE or an equivalent accepted by ANRF. The age ceiling is 28, with government-rule relaxation. Listed fellowship rates are Rs 37,000 monthly for the first two years and Rs 42,000 for the third, plus HRA.

The notice distinguishes a 36-month project from a 2.3-year position; the initial appointment lasts one year, with continuation linked to performance. Email the prescribed application and self-attested documents to rajeev.apm@iitbhu.ac.in using “Application for JRF-ANRF-IRG 2026” as the subject. Shortlisted applicants must bring originals, identification and self-attested copies to interview. No interview travel allowance is payable; selected candidates should join immediately.

The Architecture, Planning and Design JRF poster, also uploaded October 21 without a visible issue date, concerns zero-energy water-building technologies. It says apply before October 31, while the institute’s index says on or before that date. Applicants should not assume an October 31 end-of-day cutoff from this difference.

The required qualification is a relevant MTech, MArch, MS Research or equivalent master’s degree with 55% marks, reduced to 50% for reserved categories. Building-energy modelling, simulation, experimental work and prototype development are desirable skills. The poster offers Rs 37,000 monthly plus HRA for three years and/or until the project ends.

The poster provides a QR-code application route under principal investigator Dr. EVS Kiran Kumar Donthu. Applicants should follow the route in that official poster, not assume the mathematics email process also applies. A possible opportunity to pursue a PhD is conditional on meeting IIT-BHU’s postgraduate-ordinance requirements, not an automatic admission attached to appointment.

The September 30 director advertisement for IIT-BHU’s DRDO Industry Academia Centre of Excellence explicitly closes October 30. This is a senior, full-time contractual administrative and executive role, initially for three years, potentially extended by two after performance review. Either side can end the appointment with three months’ notice.

Applicants must be below 62 at the closing date and hold a doctoral or master’s degree in engineering, technology or science, or equivalent, with 25 years’ experience in technology or technical defence work. The centre’s research includes powder metallurgy, functional materials, high-power microwave sources and devices, and ceramics.

Send one PDF containing a detailed CV, suitability statement and age/qualification evidence to dord@itbhu.ac.in. Include at least two references. Use “Application for Director, DIA-CoE, IIT (BHU)” as the subject and FirstName.LastName.pdf as filename. Government-employed applicants may also submit their organisation’s no-objection certificate. Remuneration differs by pension status; the notice lists Rs 1.75 to 2 lakh for non-government applicants without government pension benefits.

These are separate from the opportunities in Dalimss News’s earlier reports on six BHU research posts and four other IIT-BHU project notices. Those reports have their own eligibility conditions and application windows.
