Varanasi Development Authority has invited bids for seven neighbourhood road, pathway and drainage packages with a combined listed tender value of ₹2,12,29,234. Published on 15 to 17 October, the records set submission deadlines on 22 and 23 October. The municipal corporation has separately advertised lane repairs and a six-park beautification package.

The reviewed pages are procurement invitations and do not record an award. They do not establish that construction has started or that these amounts have been paid. All ten individual packages reviewed specify a 90-day work period, without a calendar completion date. Times below are those displayed by the state portal.

VDA bids cover seven colony-level works

Four packages published on 16 October cover other colony links. Green Valley Colony in Khanav has a ₹23,52,000 interlocking-road tender, while Shyamapuri Colony, Mirapur Basahi, has a ₹29,66,000 tender including interlocking work. VDA lists ₹17,65,355 for interlocking pavers in Vrinda Nagar Colony, Sarsauli, and ₹18,97,326 for interlocking work in Khajuhi under Sarnath ward.

These four invitations close at 5pm on 23 October, with opening at 1pm on 24 October. Clarifications for all four close at 5pm on 22 October. On the VDA tender list, their identifiers are 2026_UPVDA_1197730_1 for Green Valley, 2026_UPVDA_1197740_1 for Shyamapuri, 2026_UPVDA_1197710_1 for Vrinda Nagar and 2026_UPVDA_1197718_1 for Khajuhi. These identify specific local stretches; the descriptions do not cover every road in the named colonies.

Municipal lanes and parks have later deadlines

Nagar Nigam’s separate Lahartara ward 01 tender covers drainage and chauka paving repairs on a stretch extending from G.T. Road. Tender 2026_NNVAR_1198403_2 lists ₹6,08,369. A second package under the same notice, 2026_NNVAR_1198403_7, provides ₹5,50,755 for interlocking work along a specified lane in Loco Chhittupur ward 07, continuing to its closed end.

Both municipal lane packages were published on 17 October. Their submission deadline is 4pm on 5 November, with opening scheduled 15 minutes later at Nagar Nigam. Each uses a single-cover process containing tender documents, fee and earnest-money records, and the financial bill of quantities. These November deadlines are separate from VDA’s earlier October submissions.

The Varunapar Group 1 package (2026_NNVAR_1197817_3) covers beautification of six parks and carries a listed value of ₹31,18,150. Published on the evening of 17 October, it closes at 5pm on 27 October and is scheduled to open at 1pm on 28 October. Its public summary lists a ₹3,120 tender fee and ₹2,64,250 earnest-money deposit, with technical and financial submissions in separate covers.

The park summary does not identify all six sites or set out the equipment, landscaping quantities or maintenance obligations. Those details cannot be inferred from the word “beautification”. The listed value is for this Varunapar group, rather than a verified citywide park budget.

Dalimss News has separately reported Varanasi’s civic maintenance priorities and the district’s health-building construction tender.
