It lists November 21, from 10 am to noon, and says the content covers arts, science and social science. The notice identifies the Education Ministry's IKS Division as the examination's knowledge partner.
The circular lists first, second and third prizes of Rs 1 lakh, Rs 50,000 and Rs 25,000 respectively, alongside awards of Rs 2,500. It also says participants will receive certificates. The required details include identification, an email address and a mobile number.
October 31 is described as the institution-registration deadline. Students should confirm their department's arrangements; the notice does not identify a campus examination room.
Keralam delegation begins journey to BHU
IIT Palakkad has reported the flag-off of a 48-member delegation travelling from Keralam to Banaras Hindu University under Yuva Sangam Phase VII. The report is dated October 21.
Chief guest V. B. Bineesh and IIT Palakkad director A. Seshadri Sekhar flagged off the journey after Sekhar's address and a student cultural programme. The institute says this is its second participation as a Yuva Sangam nodal institution. It plans to receive a 45-member delegation from Uttar Pradesh in the reciprocal exchange.
The programme covers five themes: tourism, traditions, development, people-to-people contact and technology. The institute describes exposure to Uttar Pradesh's heritage and development initiatives as part of the visit.
The Ministry of Education's Phase VII framework, published in August, pairs BHU with IIT Palakkad. It identifies 20 higher-education institutions as nodal centres and describes educational and cultural visits lasting five to seven days, excluding travel. The visits are designed to include educational institutions, governance initiatives, industries, heritage sites and community life.
The official programme portal marks Phase VII registration as closed, with August 31 as the final date.
BHU reports 332 academic awards
In another campus development, BHU's October 16 report records its first Academic Excellence Award Ceremony. The university honoured 332 students who topped their programmes in the even-semester examinations with a CGPA of at least 8.5. The awards were introduced from the 2025-26 academic session across undergraduate and postgraduate disciplines.
Of those recognised, 173 were undergraduates and 159 were postgraduates. The Faculty of Arts accounted for 92 awardees, followed by Science with 78 and Agriculture with 30.
BHU uses the number of students in each programme to set its award allocation. Cohorts above 100 qualify for three awards, those of 50 to 100 for two, and those below 50 for a single award.
BHU says approximately 500 awards will be presented each year in two phases. The ceremony at Swatantra Bhavan recognised students while they were still studying at the university.
October 31 annual-fee deadline at VKM
Vasant Kanya Mahavidyalaya in Kamachha has fixed October 31 as the last date for annual-fee submission by undergraduate second-year and third-year students and postgraduate second-year students. Its circular is dated October 12 and appears on the college's notice board under October 14.
The published procedure begins on the college website, through the Admission menu and online admission page. It directs students to the online fee-submission link, then to select All India for the institution's state and Educational Institutions for its type. The next selections are the college's name and its online-fees payment category.
The circular then calls for the examination roll number, a check of the displayed details, and the student's name, date of birth, mobile number and email address. It tells students to retain a printed receipt after successful fee submission. The document does not list course-wise amounts. The college fee page lists a fee-query helpline, 0542-2455382, available from 10 am to 5 pm. These are the published instructions; the payment process has not been independently tested by Dalimss News.
