VARANASI: Police recovered the body of an unidentified man from the Varuna River near Shastri Ghat in the Cantonment police station area on Monday. The man was estimated to be about 35 years old.

The body was seen near the Varuna corridor, after which Cantonment police arranged for it to be brought out of the water and taken into custody for the required legal and medical procedure.
