Tamil Nadu publishes Super Speciality provisional allotment list dated 27 September

Tamil Nadu's medical selection authorities have issued a provisional allotment list for Super Speciality courses for the 2025-26 session, dated 27 September 2026. The PDF on tnmedicalselection.net names candidates moved into DM and M.Ch seats across government medical colleges in the state.

The list is short and specific. It shows serial number, rank, application number, name, community, previous allotment where relevant, new allotted course and college, and the qualifying exam group. Doctors who expected only a vacancy notice should treat this as an allotment publication and check whether their application number appears.

What the 27 September list shows

Allotments on the published page include moves into DM Hepatology, DM Endocrinology, DM Neurology, DM Nephrology, DM Medical Oncology, M.Ch Neurosurgery and M.Ch Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, among others. Colleges named on the sheet include Madras Medical College, Madurai Medical College, Chengalpattu, Kilpauk, Tirunelveli, Salem, Thanjavur and K.A.P. Viswanathan Government Medical College, Trichy.

Some rows show a candidate moving from one Super Speciality seat to another. Others show a fresh allotment without a prior seat in the allotted-from column. Retained or shifted status should be read from the candidate's own downloadable allotment order, not from a third-party table.

Community columns on the sheet include BC, MBC and DNC, BCM and SC entries among others. That detail matters for anyone reconciling roster points, but it does not replace the formal order PDF.

What allotted doctors should do next

The selection site links a separate service for downloading the Super Speciality allotment order. Candidates on the provisional list should log in, download the order, and follow the joining and document instructions printed on it and on any accompanying joining notice.

Provisional lists can be followed by corrections. If a name is missing despite a portal message that suggested allotment, use the official grievance or helpdesk channel printed on tnmedicalselection.net rather than social media groups.

Service candidates and open-category candidates sometimes face different bonding and relief requirements. Those clauses sit in the Super Speciality prospectus and government orders, not in the one-page allotment PDF. Relieving orders from the current posting should be started early if the joining window is short.

How this fits the wider TN SS process

Tamil Nadu has been running Super Speciality counselling for the 2025-26 session through the year, including stray-round schedules and rank-list addenda published in September. The 27 September allotment list is a concrete seat move for the candidates named on it. It does not by itself reopen registration for doctors who never applied.

NEET-SS qualification and state eligibility rules remain the base filter. An allotment letter does not waive document verification at the receiving college. Colleges will still check originals against the order before they issue a joining report.

Candidates who resigned or free-exited earlier rounds should read the forfeiture language in the prospectus before assuming they can hop onto this list without checking their current eligibility status on the portal.
