VARANASI: Tata Memorial Centre has issued a 16 October notice for a part-time radiodiagnosis visiting consultant at its Varanasi cancer hospitals. The interview is on 21 October.
Other current notices have different application routes and deadlines, including an 18 October cut-off for outstation doctors seeking an online haemato-pathology interview.
Walk-in interviews
The visiting-consultant post requires an NMC-recognised MD/DNB in radiology or radio-diagnosis, or equivalent postgraduate qualification. The initial contract is one year. Hourly rates range from Rs 600 to Rs 1,000 according to experience, with ceilings of eight hours daily, five days weekly and 160 hours monthly.
Reporting is from 9 am to 10 am at Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya Cancer Centre (MPMMCC), Sunder Bagiya, BHU campus. Outstation applicants may request an online interview by emailing one PDF of their resume and supporting documents to recruitment-hrd.mpmmcc@tmc.gov.in by 20 October, identifying AD/VAR/2026/19 and the post. Only shortlisted eligible candidates will be contacted. Bring originals and self-attested copies of identity, qualification and experience documents.
The separate 14 October haemato-pathology notice, AD/VAR/2026/18, advertises one ad-hoc medical officer position, with an age limit of 45. A recognised DM in hematopathology needs no experience. The MD/DNB pathology route requires three years as a senior resident in a hematopathology laboratory with the specified diagnostic exposure. Less-experienced candidates may be considered at a lower grade if suitably experienced applicants are unavailable.
Its interview has the same 21 October reporting window, but online-interview requests must reach that recruitment email by 18 October. Appointment is initially for six months or until the regular post is filled, whichever comes first. The notice gives separate qualification-and-experience pay grids; applicants should check their own row rather than treating the highest amount as a universal salary.
Online applications
The 10 October surgical-oncology advertisement, VAR/ACA/42/2026, lists three specialist senior resident/senior resident posts. Online applications close at 5.30 pm IST on 26 October. One appointment will be on or after 26 November. The stated tenure runs to 31 July 2027, with any further extension dependent on the centre’s requirements.
Specialist senior residents need an NMC-recognised MCh in surgical oncology or equivalent; senior residents need MS/DNB general surgery or equivalent. Monthly consolidated pay is Rs 1,45,530 and Rs 1,33,623 respectively, with corresponding security deposits. The maximum age is 45, subject to the notice’s category relaxations. Its age-and-experience cut-off is 15 October, not the application deadline. Shared accommodation depends on availability and may involve monthly deductions.
That notice requires online submission through TMC Careers and a non-refundable Rs 300 fee. Upload the required evidence and retain access to the email account supplied. A submitted application does not guarantee an interview.
A second 10 October notice, VAR/ACA/43/2026, offers three one-year radiodiagnosis fellowships: one each in cancer imaging, breast imaging, and head-and-neck and neuro-onco imaging. The qualification is MD/DNB radio-diagnosis or an equivalent NMC-recognised postgraduate degree. Applications close at 5.30 pm IST on 31 October.
The fellowship salary is Rs 1,33,623 monthly, with a security/caution deposit of the same amount. The maximum age is 45 with stated relaxations, assessed on 31 October. Selected appointees require Uttar Pradesh Medical Council registration as applicable. Government-employed candidates need the specified employer NOC, including the original at the MCQ test/interview.
The fellowship fee is Rs 300 and non-refundable. A separate application is needed for each post; hard copies are not required. An MCQ examination may be used before interviews. This is an application deadline, not an announced examination date.
The official registration page asks applicants to select the advertisement, post and unit before entering personal and professional-registration details. Record the system-generated application number. The page asks for both present and permanent addresses, a mobile number and an email address. It also provides login, application-search and help-desk routes, so candidates can keep the application identifier with their own records rather than relying only on a saved vacancy headline.
