ShepHertz unveils Tatva, Sanjaya and Drashta offline AI models at Drone Expo 2026

NEW DELHI: ShepHertz Technologies has unveiled three AI model families built to run offline on small devices, from satellites to smart rings, according to a company news post dated 30 September 2026. The models are called Tatva, Sanjaya and Drashta. They were shown at Drone Expo 2026 at Yashobhoomi in New Delhi by the Gurugram-based company.
ShepHertz, which describes itself as an applied AI company working since 2012, says the design idea is simple: the model proposes and a person decides. Rules outside the model decide what is allowed, and every step leaves a signed receipt that can be checked offline.
What each model does
Tatva turns a plain-language instruction in English, Hinglish or an Indian language into exactly one command the machine already understands. If the request falls outside what the machine should do, it produces nothing. The company says Tatva runs on the device with no network and is trained from scratch in India. Its launch post on AgentAnywhere, the firm's sovereign AI platform, lists Tatva Edge, Tatva Nano and Tatva Micro, the last small enough to run inside a web browser.
Tatva Edge is the first one users can ask for. ShepHertz says it is in private preview from 30 September, with a waitlist open. Access is to be released in waves: guided demos first, then a hands-on preview, then paid design-partner pilots on a customer's own hardware. The company names drones, robots, ground consoles, plant PCs and laptops as targets, including Raspberry-Pi-class boards.
Sanjaya watches the telemetry of systems that cannot fail, such as spacecraft ground segments, grids and plants, and flags anomalies for an operator to act on. Drashta reads satellite and aerial imagery offline, finds aircraft and structures across wide scenes, and hands structured findings to an analyst. Both are engaged with design partners and are not on general sale.
A person stays in command
The company is direct about limits. Its Tatva Edge post says the model is not a chatbot and will not hold a conversation. It is never placed in a safety path, a control loop, a flight computer, a driving function or a weapons chain, and ShepHertz says Tatva is not a targeting or engagement system. The post adds that a valid command is not the same as a correct one.
The demonstrations at the expo, including drone mission operations, a humanoid assistant and a swarm handover, were simulated, the company says. The policy, approvals and receipts behind them are real code, it adds, but the flights and the humanoid were not live hardware tests. Integration with a specific drone, robot or vehicle is work done with the customer on their own hardware, and ShepHertz says it does not claim that out of the box.
Open-source tools and what is still pending
Alongside the models, ShepHertz said it is opening its trust toolchain under the Apache 2.0 licence. Shuddhi, a data factory that cleans a training corpus and issues provenance receipts, is on GitHub now. Model Hub, Agent Universal Gateway, Annotator and Nabhika OS are to follow over the coming weeks, with documentation at docs.agentanywhere.ai.
The company has not published benchmark results, model sizes, pricing or customer names for the three families in the material available for this report. Performance and readiness statements are therefore the company's own, and independent testing or named pilots would be needed to confirm them.
