GURUGRAM: Shree Gujarati Samaj Gurgaon’s Navratri Mahotsav continues through 19 October at The Ananta Banquet in Sector 72, on Southern Peripheral Road. Its official programme lists nightly sessions from 7:30 pm to 11:30 pm. The celebration began on 11 October.

The organiser specifies traditional attire and DJ-played Garba and Raas. It explicitly says there is no live band or singer this year. Passes include entry and access to food stalls, which should not be read as an included dinner.

The displayed adult price is ₹900 when booked before 11:59 pm the previous night, or ₹1,000 on the event day. The ticket for ages five to twelve is ₹400. Price as of 17 October 2026, 12:11 am IST; final checkout charges and remaining inventory were not verified.

Check the final amount and confirmation

The organiser’s booking terms say displayed prices may include or exclude taxes, platform fees and gateway charges, as shown at checkout. The headline pass rate should therefore not be treated as the amount that will necessarily be debited. Review the ticket category, date and final total before deciding whether to proceed.

A booking is confirmed only after the required registration or payment has succeeded and a confirmation, ticket or reference has been issued. A pending payment does not count as a confirmed place. The terms say tickets are generally personal to the named attendee unless the organiser expressly allows a transfer.

The terms identify the Samaj as the event organiser and ticket seller. The booking platform may collect fees on its behalf, while some payment arrangements let the organiser collect directly. They also allow changes to the venue or schedule. Keeping the confirmation and checking subsequent organiser messages is therefore more useful than relying only on an earlier event poster.

The terms also exclude responsibility for visitors’ travel, accommodation and incidental costs. Anyone arranging a journey specifically for the event should read that condition alongside the separate ticket-refund policy.

Cancellation and a changed date are different

The refund policy says purchasers cannot cancel once tickets are booked. That condition deserves attention when coordinating a family or group visit, particularly if someone’s attendance is uncertain. The same policy says tickets remain valid when the organiser reschedules the event.

If management cancels the event, the published policy provides for a six per cent administrative deduction from the amount paid, with the remainder refunded to the original payment method. It gives five to seven working days for approved refunds, while noting that banking or payment-provider processing can affect when money appears.

The policy says a successful booking produces a digital ticket by email and does not require physical delivery. It also says ticket holders will be informed of substantial schedule or venue changes. These are the organiser’s published conditions; they are not a report that any cancellation, refund or relocation has occurred.

For questions about cancellations, the published policy identifies dhwanit@xpro.ai as its support email. Keep the booking reference available when asking about a particular transaction, without sending payment credentials.

The dance behind the evening

The Sangeet Natak Akademi’s cultural-heritage entry describes Garba as a devotional Navratri dance associated with Shakti. Traditionally, dancers move around a lamp-lit earthen pot or an image of Amba, singing and clapping together. The entry records its inscription on UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2023.

Its account emphasises learning through observation and practice across generations, in both urban and rural settings. Dancers are only part of the tradition: musicians, craftspeople, community groups and religious figures also contribute. That is cultural background, rather than a claim that every traditional element or ritual is part of this particular Gurugram programme.

The Akademi also describes participation extending across social backgrounds. Its account treats the practice as a shared cultural activity, rather than limiting it to trained professional performers.

For other local festival plans, see the separate Utsav Yoga and Wedknot event guide and Chinmaya Gurudham’s October programme. Their booking arrangements should not be applied to the Samaj event.
