NEW DELHI: Qubo's smart bulb range is listed from Rs 599 to Rs 799 on its Indian website. The range covers 9W and 12W bulbs in B22 and E27 fittings. The lowest listed price belongs to the 9W B22 version, while the 12W E27 sits at the top. These are the company's displayed product prices, with tax included, rather than a retailer or bank offer.

The fitting changes the price as well as the installation

The useful starting point is the fitting already installed in the room. Qubo gives each wattage a separate B22 and E27 listing, so the cheapest entry in the table is not automatically a replacement for an existing lamp. Check the code on the holder and the old bulb before comparing the displayed amounts.

The table also shows why this range needs a full variant list. The 12W B22 is listed below the 12W E27, although both share the same wattage and the manual's brightness figure. The premium attached to a fitting should not be mistaken for evidence that it adds another app feature.

For a room where the existing holder will stay in place, compare the versions with that same base. For a lamp that is being moved between rooms, establish where it will actually be used before selecting the bulb. That is a more concrete way to read this particular price ladder than treating all four names as interchangeable.

What the extra wattage changes

Qubo's manual rates the 9W versions at 860 lumens and the 12W versions at 1,200 lumens. That provides a stated brightness distinction beyond the wattage printed in the product name. It does not establish how evenly either bulb will light a particular room, which also depends on the fixture and where it is placed.

The range shares app and voice control, a scheduler, a timer and Wi-Fi plus Bluetooth connectivity. Qubo also advertises 16 million colours. Its official lighting leaflet describes adjustable white light and brightness, along with support for Alexa and Google Assistant. The higher wattage should therefore be understood primarily through the stated light output, rather than assumed to unlock a different control platform.

Check the network before setting a schedule

The manual specifies a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connection during setup and also describes Bluetooth configuration when Wi-Fi is unavailable. It tells users to stay close to the bulb during Bluetooth pairing. The two connection methods should not be read as a promise that every remote function will work from outside the home without a working network.

Qubo's leaflet says that a separate hub is not required. Even so, the bulb still has to be added to the Qubo app. For an existing connected home, that makes the app account, router coverage at the lamp and the intended voice assistant relevant parts of the installation, alongside the physical fitting.

Households reviewing the connection behind their smart devices can also read our Qubo Smart Plug 16A vs 10A price: 10A starts lower at Rs 899. The broadband subscription and the bulb are separate purchases; the router still needs to provide the connection the bulb's manual specifies.

Read the listed price without assuming a new launch

These listings establish the amounts Qubo currently displays. They do not establish when a price changed, so this is a range price check rather than a report of a fresh reduction. The MRP column is kept separate to make clear which amount is the selling price shown on the product page.
