NEW DELHI: Qubo's AI Guard premium camera plans are listed at Rs 1,490 a year for Pro, Rs 2,490 for Elite and Rs 3,990 for Black. The service also offers monthly billing. The condition to read alongside those prices is cloud retention: the advertised backup period applies to two cameras, then reduces pro rata as more devices join the plan.

Count cameras before comparing backup periods

The official formula is pro-rated backup equals two multiplied by the plan's backup days, divided by the total number of devices. Qubo says this reduction begins from the third camera. The formula makes camera count part of the storage entitlement, rather than merely an installation detail.

For a household extending coverage from an entrance to a balcony and another room, the important question is how far back the archive will reach after the expansion. Keep the device list beside the plan comparison. A retention description copied from the original installation can become misleading when the number of covered devices changes.

Pro, Elite and Black therefore need to be read as service tiers with defined history, rather than vague labels for increasing security. The relevant history is the one attached to the household's actual arrangement. A more expensive tier cannot establish whether a particular event was recorded in the first place.

Cloud history and a continuous timeline differ

Qubo describes the cloud footage as recordings of incidents detected by AI. Its no-SD-card claim is also qualified as applying to selected models. Neither statement promises an uninterrupted cloud recording of everything happening in front of every supported camera.

That matters when a resident needs to reconstruct what happened before an alert. The useful setup check is to inspect a recorded event and its playback, rather than assuming that paying for cloud storage changes the camera's recording behaviour. Keep local-card operation and cloud entitlement as separate questions when reading the device instructions.

For an example of why recording mode matters, our Qubo Video Doorbell Pro 2K price: Rs 8,990 distinguishes the settings on that separate camera. The lesson for an AI Guard account is to verify its own camera and plan combination rather than carry a recording assumption across brands.

For a rented flat, the handover checklist can name the camera owner, the account holder and the person expected to retrieve footage. That avoids leaving responsibility for a paid archive unclear when the tenancy changes.

Account access also belongs in the comparison

Qubo lists two logins for Base and six for each premium tier. Those are account-access figures. They should be read independently of the camera count used in the retention formula, since the plan table describes them as different parts of the service.

A shared household can use a simple written record of who needs the view and who manages the subscription. This is particularly useful when the person paying for the service is different from the person checking alerts. Review that arrangement when a resident leaves or responsibility for the property changes.

The Qubo Smart Plug 16A vs 10A price: 10A starts lower at Rs 899 gives related context on treating household video as sensitive access. For entrance hardware, our Qubo Baby Camera vs Smart Cam 360 Pro price: both Rs 3,990 covers a separate device cost; it does not establish a service entitlement for this plan table.

Qubo directs customers to its app to purchase premium plans. Before paying, match the displayed term, camera eligibility and retention with the intended account. Keep a record of that screen and the receipt so a later renewal or storage query refers to the service actually selected.
