GURUGRAM: The Piano Man's Gurugram room at 32nd Avenue has a busy week on its calendar. The venue's own listing shows a lunch set and an indie night on Monday, 5 October, followed by fusion on Friday, a qawwali evening on Saturday and a pop tribute set on Sunday, 11 October. Every evening slot is listed with a seating time of 8:30 pm.

The club runs three rooms in the National Capital Region, and the listing used here is the one marked The Piano Man Gurugram, 32nd Avenue. The other two, in Safdarjung and at Eldeco Centre in Saket, are in Delhi and keep separate calendars, so readers booking from the Gurugram side should make sure the venue name on the ticket matches.

Monday opens with Lunch Sessions with Raghav at 1:30 pm. The event page describes Raghav Mishra, on guitar and vocals, as a performer since 2019 whose sets move between classic rock tributes, with Pink Floyd and Bob Dylan named, and soulful Hindi songs. The page lists a single seating category at Rs 199.

The same evening, Shikhar takes the 8:30 pm slot. His page calls him a 23-year-old singer-songwriter from Bhopal who studied at The True School of Music in Mumbai and writes guitar-led songs shaped by 1980s and 1990s pop and rock. Seats are listed at Rs 299.

Friday, 9 October, carries Mehfil-e-Ishqa under the fusion tag. The Gurugram listing gives the date and the 8:30 pm seating time, but at the time of reading the detail page for this show was not separately available, so check the line-up and fee on the listing before planning around it.

The weekend: qawwali on Saturday, pop on Sunday

Saturday, 10 October, is the headline of the week for many listeners. Mehfil-e-Sufi with the Nizami Brothers features Akbar Nizami and Gufran Nizami, whom the venue page places in the Sikandrabad Gharana. It says Akbar Nizami performed more than 4,000 shows since 1982 with his late brother, Ustad Ghulam Sabir Nizami, and trained in classical compositions with his maternal grandfather, Haji Ustad Altaf Hussain Khan of the Khurja Gharana.

All seating categories for the qawwali night, from table seats to the balcony hanging ledge, were listed at Rs 999 each when Dalimss News read the page at about 9 am IST on 5 October 2026. The page notes that the hanging ledge seats have a partly limited view of the stage, which matters for a two-voice performance where watching the singers is part of the experience.

Sunday, 11 October, brings John Mayer At Heart. Pop After Dark. by Vultures, a five-piece band the page describes as a tribute to John Mayer's guitar-driven songs that also strays into modern pop. The listed line-up is Aronjoy Das on guitar and vocals, Sidhant Jain on guitar, Allan Thomas on drums, Punit Sharma on bass and Joel Myron Dias on keyboard. Every category was listed at Rs 499 as of the same reading.

The listing then runs into the following weekend with The Silver Lining Show, tagged retro, on Friday, 16 October, Nidhi Gusain Live, tagged Bollywood, on Saturday, 17 October, and Shameful the band, tagged rock, on Sunday, 18 October. Those dates are on the venue calendar now, but fees and details can change before then.

The house rules printed on the event pages are worth reading before you go. Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. For shows before 8 pm, seats are released 15 minutes after the start if the venue has not heard about a late arrival, and for night shows the cut-off is 9:15 pm. The club says it does not allow anyone under 18 from 7 pm until closing on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, which rules out the qawwali and pop nights for teenagers.

Outside food and drinks are not permitted, and the venue says seating is planned by management unless a ticket category says otherwise. The listing gives 9555169508 as the number for tickets and reservations at the Gurugram room.

For readers building a fuller week of culture, Museo Camera in DLF Phase IV has its own October programme with a Thumri sitting and author talks, covered in Dalimss News' Museo Camera events guide for 17 to 24 October. Those who prefer a dinner and a walk after a show can look at the DLF CyberHub entertainment guide, though CyberHub is a separate drive from 32nd Avenue.

Prices quoted here are as listed on the venue's pages on 5 October 2026 at about 9 am IST and exclude anything the venue may add at checkout. Check the event page again on the day you plan to go.
