MINI's India specification sheet now lists the Cooper Oxford Edition at Rs 55,50,000 ex-showroom, price as of 17 October 2026, 4.30 am IST. The amount was missing when Dalimss News reported the booking opening on 11 October.

The earlier Oxford sheet leaves the price blank; the version now linked atop the official product page supplies it. Both carry September 2026 footers. The precise price-announcement date has not been established.

Read the price before comparing quotes

The priced Oxford sheet includes applicable GST in the ex-showroom amount. It excludes road tax, tax collected at source, registration-related charges, other statutory or local levies and insurance. MINI says the price prevailing at invoicing applies, with prices and options subject to change.

Buyers need an itemised quotation to establish their final budget. Maintenance packages, extended cover and accessories should appear separately from the car and statutory charges.

MINI's 8 October booking announcement directs customers to authorised dealerships and describes a limited Indian allocation. It does not specify a unit count, booking deposit or delivery timetable. Publishing a price does not, by itself, establish that a particular dealer has a car ready for delivery. The announcement lists 18 sales touchpoints across 17 cities, with servicing through the wider BMW Group network at 51 touchpoints in 36 cities. These are the company's network figures, not an Oxford inventory count.

Compare the equipment, not just the badge

The regular Cooper specification sheet helps explain where the Oxford sits. Both that sheet and the Oxford brochure quote 204 hp, 300 Nm and a 0-100 km/h time of 6.6 seconds. The comparison points to an equipment and design package rather than a higher engine-output specification.

The ordinary Cooper already lists a panoramic glass roof, 240 mm OLED display, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, reversing camera and Parking Assistant. Buyers should not count these as Oxford-only additions. The regular sheet separates its Essential specification from Classic and Favoured upgrade packs, making the chosen trim important when comparing two dealer offers.

The Oxford brochure identifies a Favoured Pack base, 18-inch Slide Spoke wheels and black Vescin JCW seats, with edition-specific roof, bonnet and boot graphics. Separately, the regular Favoured package lists a head-up display, powered front-seat adjustment and an interior camera. Those higher-trim features belong in the comparison before assigning a value to the Oxford styling package.

The regular Cooper sheet currently linked by MINI is dated February 2026. That older document is useful for identifying the listed trim content, but it should not be treated as an independently confirmed October transaction price. This report therefore does not calculate a current Oxford premium from its older price table.

Warranty and servicing are separate costs to check

MINI's India warranty page describes standard manufacturing-defect cover for two years without a mileage limit. It also lists three years for paintwork deficiencies and 12 years for bodywork rust perforation, excluding add-on parts such as trim strips and roof rails from that bodywork provision.

Extended cover, called MINI Repair Inclusive, covers eligible repairs during the agreed contractual period without a mileage limit. The company says it can be bought while the original two-year warranty or an existing extension remains valid. The page does not quote an Oxford-specific extension price.

Separately, MINI's service-package guide distinguishes Oil Inclusive, Service Inclusive and Service Inclusive Plus. The first covers engine-oil service. Service Inclusive adds scheduled maintenance such as filters, spark plugs and brake fluid. Plus adds specified wear items, including brake pads, discs and wiper blades. MINI lists wiper-blade replacement once a year under Plus. For the maintenance packages, it describes a one-time payment covering included tasks for the chosen term at participating service partners. A warranty extension and a maintenance package therefore address different parts of an ownership budget. The selected package name and its covered items matter more than an unspecific promise of service support.

These packages need their own scope, duration and price on the quotation. The published Oxford amount does not establish that a particular package comes free. As with other limited-edition booking announcements, buyers still need the dealer's written allocation, payment and delivery terms before committing.
