Lohta Hit-and-Run: Truck Kills Two Pedestrians on Chandpur–Akelwan Road

A speeding truck allegedly travelling on the wrong side of Chandpur–Akelwan road in Lohta on Saturday morning ran over two pedestrians, killing Chedi, 60, and Rashid Jamal, 16, on the spot before fleeing, police said, with officers now scanning CCTV to trace the vehicle and driver.

Family members and villagers gathered at the spot after the two were found dead and demanded that the driver be arrested.
