Land Dispute Turns Violent in Varanasi’s Chaubepur; Several Injured in Village Clash

Violence erupted over a land dispute in Varanasi, where a clash between two groups turned brutal in Chaubepur area. The incident took place in Saraiya No. 2 village, where both sides allegedly attacked each other using sticks and sharp tools, including a spade.
According to initial reports, around half a dozen people were injured in the clash. The injured were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. Locals said the dispute had been ongoing and escalated into violence, leading to chaos in the village.
Police from the area reached the spot after receiving information and brought the situation under control. The Varanasi Police have started an investigation into the matter and are identifying those involved in the incident.
