KNRUHS reopens B.Sc Nursing Competent Authority Quota registration till 5 October

Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, Warangal, has reopened online registration for B.Sc Nursing (4YDC) seats under the Competent Authority Quota for 2026-27. The university notification dated 30 September 2026 says TG-EAPCET-2026 qualified candidates can apply on tsparamed.tsche.in from 5:00 PM on 30 September to 5:00 PM on 5 October 2026.
Registration is only for web-based counselling that will fix the State Merit position for Competent Authority Quota seats in government and private nursing colleges affiliated to KNRUHS. The total seat count for the quota will be notified before candidates exercise website options. Tuition fees will follow Government of Telangana orders.
Who can register in this window
Applicants must meet Telangana local candidate rules under G.O.Ms.No. 139 HM&FW (C1) dated 4 October 2024. In short, they should be Indian nationals, PIO or OCI card holders who studied or resided in Telangana for the qualifying period set out in the notification. Domiciles of other States are not eligible for these CQ seats.
Academically, candidates need 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English, or an accepted equivalent pathway listed by the university, with 45 per cent in the science group for the general category and 40 per cent for SC, ST and BC as per Indian Nursing Council circulars cited in the notice. They must also clear the TG-EAPCET-2026 percentile cut-offs printed in the notification (40th percentile for general including EWS, with cut-off rank 50972; 30th for SC/ST/BC and PwD of those categories, rank 59467; 35th for OC PwD, rank 55220).
Intermediate vocational students with the bridge course in biological and physical sciences are also listed among eligible pathways, along with boards such as CBSE, ICSE, NIOS and TOSS, provided Physics, Chemistry and Biology are part of the pass.
Age, fee and documents
The minimum age is 17 years on 31 December 2026. There is no upper age limit in this notification. Registration and verification fee is Rs 2,500 for OC and BC candidates and Rs 2,000 for SC/ST candidates for each course, payable online, with bank charges extra.
Candidates must upload scanned original certificates while filling the form. After scrutiny, KNRUHS will publish a provisional final merit list. The university has asked applicants to download and read the course prospectus on knruhs.telangana.gov.in before paying the fee.
Keep study certificates, residence proofs where relevant, caste certificates, EAPCET rank cards and intermediate marksheets in clear PDF or JPEG scans. Blurry uploads are a common reason files stall at verification even when the candidate is otherwise eligible.
What happens after 5 October
Once the registration window closes, the university verifies uploads, prepares merit, and only then opens option entry against the notified CQ seat matrix. Students who miss the 5 October 5 pm deadline will not sit in this merit list for the reopened cycle.
Aspiring nurses should finish payment and uploads well before the last hour on 5 October, when portal traffic usually spikes. For dates and eligibility text, treat the 30 September KNRUHS notification as the controlling document rather than coaching-centre paraphrases.
