Kerala KEAM MBBS/BDS Phase-1 final allotment due 27 August; joining 28 August–5 September

Kerala’s first-phase MBBS/BDS final allotment is listed for Thursday, 27 August. The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations’ homepage, timestamped 9:08 AM IST the same morning, still carried the 25 August line that the provisional list had been published. The complaint window closed at 6:00 PM on 26 August. Joining, once the final list is out, runs from 28 August to 5 September, 4:00 PM.

That is not a recycle of Tuesday’s provisional drop as if it were today’s news. The 25 August notification (CEE/404/2026-TA4) published the first-phase provisional allotment and fixed 27 August for the final list after valid complaints. As of Thursday morning the public homepage had not swapped that provisional flag for a final-allotment banner. Candidates should treat the 27 August date as due, not as already live, until the Candidate Portal actually shows the final file.

What the 25 August notice actually said

The provisional list covers State-quota seats in Government Medical and Dental colleges and seats in private self-financing medical and dental colleges in Kerala, except NRI quota, for 2026–27. It was prepared on options registered from 15 August to 24 August, 11:00 AM.

Candidates can view the list through KEAM 2026 – Candidate Portal, menu ‘Allotment List’. Genuine complaints were to go only to ceekinfo.cee@kerala.gov.in up to 6:00 PM on 26 August. Helpline numbers printed on the notice are 0471-2332120 and 0471-2338487.

A 20 August reschedule notice, issued after the Medical Counselling Committee moved its calendar, had already set the same 25 August / 27 August pair and opened option registration, deletion and rearrangement till 24 August, 11:00 AM. Palakkad Institute of Medical Sciences was included in this phase; the notice listed a provisional annual fee of Rs 8,98,800 (General) and Rs 21,65,720 (NRI) for that college. Option registration for 15% All India Quota seats in self-financing dental colleges was opened irrespective of domicile, with allotment subject to Government approval.

Joining is 28 August to 5 September, not today

Candidates who get an allotment on the final list must remit the fee shown in the allotment memo and take admission between 28 August and 5 September, 4:00 PM. College authorities are to approve and send the list of admitted candidates through OAMS by 5 September, 5:00 PM. Missing that window is not a paperwork delay; it is how a Phase-1 seat is lost.

Do not treat a screenshot of the 25 August provisional list as a joining order. Wait for the final allotment on the Candidate Portal, download the memo, and then pay and report. NRI-quota seats in private colleges were carved out of the 25 August provisional file; candidates chasing those seats should not read this Phase-1 medical list as covering them.

What to do on Thursday

Refresh www.cee.kerala.gov.in and the KEAM 2026 Candidate Portal through the day. If the final Phase-1 list is uploaded, print the allotment memo and prepare fee remittance for 28 August. If the homepage still says “provisional published” into the evening, the 27 August date has not yet been met — do not travel on a rumour that the final list is out.

This is KEAM medical (MBBS/BDS) state counselling, not KEAM engineering. The CEE homepage also flags a DNB (Post Diploma) 2026 application extension and LLB option-confirmation windows; those are separate processes.
