Ninja ZX-10R (2026): Rs 20,79,000. The 998 cm³ superbike makes 144.0 kW (196 PS) at 13,000 rpm and weighs 207 kg.

What the price gaps mean

The ZX-6R costs Rs 2,50,000 more than the Z900 and makes slightly less power, 91.0 kW against 92.2 kW, with less torque, 69.0 Nm against 98.6 Nm. The money buys a fairing and a supersport riding position, not more speed on paper.

The Versys 1100 and the Ninja 1100SX share an engine, and the Ninja costs Rs 53,000 more. The ZX-10R costs Rs 6,37,000 more than the 1100SX, and its 144.0 kW is 44 per cent more than the 100.0 kW of the 1100SX.

Power, weight and seat height

The ZX-10R is the most powerful at 144.0 kW and weighs 207 kg, which gives it the best power for each kilogram of the five. The Versys 1100 is the heaviest at 257 kg. Seat heights range from 820 mm on the two 1,100 cc bikes to 835 mm on the ZX-10R, so none of them is an easy fit for shorter riders.

The ZX-6R has the tightest torque figure at 69.0 Nm, and it makes its peak power at 13,000 rpm, so it rewards revving more than the others. The Z900 and 1100 cc bikes put their peak torque between 7,600 and 7,700 rpm, lower in the rev range.
