Jio IPO applicants can check their allotment through registrar KFin Technologies, with exchange lookup facilities also available on NSE and BSE. Jio Platforms' official prospectus places finalisation of the basis of allotment on or about Monday, 26 October 2026. It schedules fund unblocking and demat credit on or about 27 October, followed by trading on or about 28 October. These are indicative dates, not confirmation that an individual application has received shares.
The distinction matters when a status page is still waiting for an issue to appear. At the 14:57 IST check on 26 October, this guide had verified the official schedule and the public lookup forms, but had not verified a live Jio allotment result. An application receipt, a blocked bank balance and an allotment confirmation describe different stages.
| Stage | Indicative date in the prospectus |
|---|---|
| Basis of allotment finalisation | 26 October 2026 |
| ASBA unblocking and applicable refunds | 27 October 2026 |
| Shares credited to allottees' demat accounts | 27 October 2026 |
| Commencement of trading | 28 October 2026 |
Page 529 of the official Jio prospectus calls this timetable indicative and makes commencement of trading subject to exchange approvals. Its dates should therefore be read with the qualification “on or about”, including when planning a follow-up on a missing credit.
How to check Jio IPO allotment status on KFin
Open the KFin IPO Allotment Status page. The public form has a Select IPO menu and three identification options: Application No, Demat Account and PAN. Select Jio Platforms when the issue becomes available, choose the identification method and enter the corresponding details from the application. Submit the form and read the result against the correct application.
If Jio is missing from the list, the form cannot yet answer that query. That alone does not mean rejection or zero allotment. Keep the application acknowledgement available and return to the official page when the registrar publishes the issue. A result for another similarly named company cannot establish the outcome of a Jio application.
How to use the NSE and BSE official pages
On NSE's Verify IPO Bid/Allotment Details page, choose the equity IPO option, select the relevant symbol and enter the PAN or application number. NSE says its module shows bid information uploaded by the member or bank and also provides allotment information supplied by the registrar. A bid record is therefore useful for checking what was submitted, but is not by itself an allotment result.
On BSE's Status of Issue Application page, select Equity, choose the issue name, enter the application number or PAN, complete the displayed captcha and submit. BSE states that allotment details are published after the registrar completes allocation. Read any status message before concluding that a blank result means an unsuccessful application.
What happens to blocked money and demat credit?
The prospectus distinguishes refunds, where applicable to anchor investors, from unblocking money in ASBA accounts. For an ordinary ASBA applicant, “refund” often means release of the unused bank block. Check the available balance and the block or mandate status, rather than looking only for a new incoming payment. Match any amount retained for allotted shares with the eventual allotment record.
Demat credit is a separate check. The prospectus provides for allotment in dematerialised form. If the registrar shows shares allotted, compare that result with the depository or depository participant statement after the scheduled credit process. An allotment message and a bank debit do not replace the holding entry in that account.
BSE directs queries about revoked amounts and their status to the applicant's bank. For allotment queries, it points applicants to the registrar; discrepancies in bidding details may involve the trading member, bank, registrar or depository participant. Keep the application number, relevant dates and the exact status message together so that the unresolved stage is clear.
What changes on the proposed listing day?
The proposed 28 October trading date concerns admission to exchange trading, while the earlier stages concern allocation, money and delivery of shares. Check the final exchange notice before treating the prospectus timetable as completed. Neither the allotment schedule nor a successful allocation establishes the price at which trading will begin.
