GURUGRAM: Five official road tenders published on 16 and 17 October carry a combined listed value of Rs 31.46 crore. They cover GMDA sector roads and MCG works in Palam Vihar.
GMDA tenders cover repairs and a new service road
The GMDA notice for the road dividing sectors 32 and 39 combines special repair with drain desilting. Its drainage component covers surface, cross and master drains along the roads dividing sectors 32/39, 32/38 and 38/39. Tender 2026_HRY_555082_1 carries a listed value of Rs 2,57,79,570 and a work period of 240 days. Published on 17 October, it accepts bids until 27 October, with opening scheduled for the following day.
A second GMDA package concerns service roads beside four master-road stretches: sectors 41/44, 40/45, 39/46 and 38/47. The special-repair tender, 2026_HRY_554974_1, is valued at Rs 4,97,73,409 and also lists 240 days for the work. It was published on 17 October. The submission deadline is 27 October and opening is scheduled for 28 October.
Another GMDA notice covers construction of a service road along the sector-dividing road between sectors 103 and 106. GMDA has listed Rs 9,95,73,933 for tender 2026_HRY_554973_1, with a 300-day work period. Published on 17 October, the timetable specifies: bids close on 2 November and are due to open on 3 November.
The current 103/106 notice describes construction, rather than special repair. It identifies GMDA’s Road Maintenance and Urban Amenities division as the bid-opening place and gives a 120-day bid-validity period. That validity field concerns the bid, not the construction duration. Dalimss News previously reported on a separate service-road proposal along sectors 99/102. The current notice provides no contractor appointment or on-site commencement date.
Separate re-calls for Palam Vihar internal roads
In Palam Vihar, the Sector 2 package covers re-carpeting of internal roads in ward 4, division 3A. MCG published tender 2026_HRY_554865_1 on 16 October, listing a value of Rs 7,66,89,169 and a 180-day work period. Bids are due by 10 November, with opening scheduled for that day. The title identifies the notice as a re-call, rather than presenting it as the first invitation for this work.
The Sector 1 re-call was published on 17 October. Tender 2026_HRY_554995_1 lists Rs 6,28,12,965 for internal-road re-carpeting in the same ward and division, with a 180-day work period. Its deadline is 11 November and opening is scheduled for that day. The Sector 1 listing sets a Rs 20,000 tender fee and a Rs 1,000 processing fee for bidders.
The Sector 2 title uses the specification shorthand “BM BC”. Its public summary does not explain why bids were re-invited. A re-call alone cannot establish whether an earlier round attracted no bidders or was changed for another reason. The listing names Municipal Corporation Gurugram as the bid-opening place, with technical documents and the price bid submitted in separate covers.
The sector 32/39 package’s 240-day entry is a work-period field, not an announced calendar completion date. The summary gives no traffic-diversion schedule or lane-closure dates. This road-and-drain notice does not identify itself as an action under the recent Gurugram road-dust inspection covered by Dalimss News. It therefore cannot establish which inspection findings, if any, this procurement would address.
GMDA lists its Road Maintenance and Urban Amenities division as the bid-opening place for the four-stretch service-road repair package. Its public summary specifies a two-cover process, with documents in one cover and the price bid in the other. The scheduled opening is a procurement step. Neither that date nor the listed tender value confirms the final contract amount or an on-site mobilisation date.
For Sector 1 bidders, the listing also specifies an earnest-money deposit of Rs 12,56,259 and marks EMD exemption as allowed. The tender-fee field does not allow exemption. This is a two-cover works tender: the technical documents are separate from the financial price bid. The record lists 180 days of bid validity, separate from its 180-day work period. Neither entry supplies a fixed date on which residents can expect the resurfacing to finish.
