BHU posts B.V.Sc Round 1 NEET cut-offs; fee payment closes 28 September morning

Banaras Hindu University has published Round 1 cut-off NEET ranks for the Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry course at its Rajiv Gandhi South Campus in Mirzapur. Allotted candidates must pay the admission fee by 28 September 2026, 11:59 AM. Physical reporting is on 14 October 2026, with classes listed to begin on 15 October.

The Central Admission Committee posted the cut-off notice and a separate corrigendum on 26 September. The corrigendum says the first and later rounds were preponed so that the admission process could be completed by 30 September 2026, in line with a Veterinary Council of India communication on the admission date. Results, it said, would appear from 26 September onward.

Round 1 cut-offs

The Round 1 sheet lists All India NEET ranks as follows: Unreserved 44,110; EWS 55,377; OBC 48,934; SC 181,813; ST 172,758. These are cut-off ranks for the RGSC Mirzapur B.V.Sc and A.H. seat matrix in this round, not predictions for later rounds.

Candidates must check their own allotment on the BHU admission portal dashboard. A cut-off table does not itself create a seat. Payment without a portal allotment will not help, and an allotment left unpaid will not survive the deadline.

Students comparing these ranks with previous years should remember that seat matrix size, category movement and the NEET cohort all shift the number. The only operative figure for an allotted candidate this week is whether the dashboard shows a seat and whether the fee clears before Monday morning.

Fee, reporting and classes

Last date for fee payment is 28 September 2026 up to 11:59 AM. Non-payment inside that window cancels the allotted seat, with forfeiture of associated rights and no carry-forward to later rounds on that allotment, the notice says.

Physical reporting is fixed for 14 October 2026. Commencement of classes is listed as 15 October 2026. The university asks candidates to prefer a PC or laptop for fee payment and not to leave the transfer to the last minutes of the Monday morning cut-off.

Bank declines and UPI timeouts are ordinary on deadline mornings. Starting the payment on Sunday evening is safer than refreshing the gateway at 11:50 AM on Monday.

Eligibility check before you pay

The Round 1 note tells students to confirm that they meet every eligibility condition before paying. NEET qualification, category certificates, age rules and any campus-specific requirements should be re-read against the B.V.Sc information bulletin. A fee paid on a mistaken reading of eligibility is hard to unwind inside a compressed calendar tied to the 30 September completion line.

The corrigendum's reference to completing admissions by 30 September explains why BHU moved results earlier than some applicants expected. Anyone still waiting for a slower schedule should look at the portal now rather than assume a later first list.

Documents for October reporting

When reporting on 14 October, candidates should carry the usual set the BHU UG or professional course checklists ask for: allotment and fee receipts, NEET documents, mark sheets, category certificates, transfer and migration papers, photographs and anti-ragging undertakings. Pending-document undertakings, where the university allows them, still come with a final submission date printed on the form.

RGSC Barkachha, Mirzapur, is a distinct campus from the main Varanasi teaching hospitals. Travel and hostel planning should use the Mirzapur reporting venue named in the notice, not a default assumption of Lanka or the main BHU gate.
