CULVER CITY / NEW DELHI: Beats has put its new flagship over-ear headphones, Beats 360, on sale in India at Rs 42,900, with online orders open and in-store stock timed from 24 September 2026.

The global unveil landed on 22 September 2026. Beats' press note prices the headphones at $349.99 in the United States and says availability covers more than 100 countries and regions through Apple's online storefronts. India's Beats storefront lists the same model at Rs 42,900 with matching Performance Knit cushions in the box.

Core colours are Black, Cloud, Pink and Sky. Separate cushion kits — Performance Knit in six colours and UltraPlush in Black and Cloud — are sold on their own; the India store shows cushion kits at Rs 6,900.

Custom cushions, ANC and battery claims

Beats 360 is the brand's first over-ear model with interchangeable ear and headband cushions. Performance Knit uses breathable knit over memory foam for workouts; UltraPlush uses engineered leather similar to cushions on Beats Studio Pro and Solo 4. The headphones carry an IPX4 sweat-and-water rating, a first for Beats over-ears, according to the company.

Active noise cancellation is described as up to 1.75 times the combined active and passive cancellation of Beats Studio Pro under IEC 60268-24 testing cited in the footnotes. Nine digital MEMS microphones support ANC and calls. Battery life is listed at up to 32 hours with adaptive EQ when ANC and transparency are off, and the same 32-hour figure with ANC and personalised spatial audio on in Apple's August 2026 lab tests. Transparency mode is listed at up to 24 hours. A five-minute Fast Fuel charge is said to yield about an hour of playback.

Oliver Schusser, Apple's vice president of Music, Sports and Beats, said the model combines the brand's most advanced acoustic performance with a balanced fit and the new cushion system.

Apple and Android hooks

A custom Beats chip handles Class 1 Bluetooth 5.3. Apple users get one-touch pairing, Automatic Switching, Audio Sharing and Find My support on recent software. Android users get Fast Pair, Audio switch and Find Hub through the Beats app on supported versions.

For Indian buyers, the actionable facts are the Rs 42,900 list price on the local Beats store, the 24 September shelf date and the optional cushion kits. Introductory $9.99 cushion pricing called out for some overseas markets is not described as an India offer in the same global footnote list. Beats Studio Pro was also repriced to $299.99 in the United States alongside the launch; India Studio Pro pricing was not restated in the same note.

Beats says 80 per cent recycled plastic is used across multiple components of Beats 360, calling it the highest recycled-plastic share in a Beats product to date, with magnets using recycled rare-earth content and packaging from plant-based fibre. Those environmental claims are company calculations that include mass-balance allocation in the footnotes.

Indian buyers ordering from beatsbydre.com/in should confirm warranty terms on the local storefront checkout, because global press footnotes focus on US regulatory and recycling disclosures. The fold-flat design and woven ripstop case are included; cushion kits are not.
