WBMCC posts UG AYUSH Round 1 allotment; admission day extended to 1 October

KOLKATA: The West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee has published the provisional Round-1 seat allotment result for UG AYUSH counselling 2026. The allotment sheet lists All India rank, choice number, institute, course, allotted quota and category for candidates who locked preferences in the first round.

Separately, the Directorate of Medical Education, Swasthya Bhavan, has extended the admission day for WB NEET UG AYUSH counselling 2026 to 1 October from 11 am to 4 pm as per server time. The urgent notice (Memo No. HFW-23099/3 iLl 2O23lM, dated 25 September) is signed by the Director of Medical Education and Chairman of WBMCC.

Reporting window

Allotted candidates should treat 1 October as the extended physical reporting day at the allotted AYUSH college unless a later college-specific note says otherwise. Carry the allotment printout, NEET UG documents, academic certificates and category proofs claimed during registration. Colleges are expected to follow WBMCC joining instructions already posted on the UG AYUSH counselling page.

Round-1 status on the sheet shows whether a seat was allotted against the candidate's locked choices. Those who did not get a seat remain in play for later rounds as per the state schedule. Candidates who got a seat but cannot join on the extended day risk forfeiture under the usual WBMCC rules for non-reporting.
