WBMCC Round-2 registration opens today at 1 pm for WB NEET UG

West Bengal's medical counselling Round-2 window opens this afternoon. The Directorate of Medical Education, Swasthya Bhawan, Salt Lake, Kolkata, has issued a revised tentative schedule for Round 2 of WB NEET UG 2026 counselling covering State Quota, Private Management Quota and NRI Quota seats. Online registration for NEET UG 2026-qualified candidates runs from 1:00 pm on 07.09.2026 to 6:00 pm on 09.09.2026, server time. The memo is HFW-23099/320/2026/M/2262, dated 03/09/2026, signed by the Director of Medical Education and Chairman of the West Bengal Medical Counseling Committee.

This is Round-2 state counselling on wbmcc.nic.in. It is not the MCC All India Quota Round-2 choice window. Candidates who need West Bengal state, private management or NRI seats follow the WBMCC clock below and ignore any AIQ-only seat matrix that belongs to mcc.nic.in. Keep the Round-1 allotment papers handy if you plan to surrender or upgrade in this round.

Registration, fee, verification and seat surrender

Online registration is open from 1:00 pm on 07.09.2026 until 6:00 pm on 09.09.2026. Online fee payment starts at the same 1:00 pm on 07.09.2026 and continues until 12:00 midnight on 09.09.2026. That means the fee window outlasts registration by six hours on the last day. Candidates who finish registration late still need a successful fee transaction before midnight on 09.09.2026.

Verification of candidates who complete registration and fee payment is scheduled at designated colleges in time slots on 08.09.2026, 09.09.2026 and 10.09.2026, from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. The schedule marks verification as not applicable for NRI candidates. Bring the documents the college list asks for within that slot; unverified candidates do not move into Round-2 choice filling on this calendar.

Online seat surrender at the allotted college level, with all original documents, is fixed for 11.09.2026 and 12.09.2026, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Publication of the verified candidate list and the Round-2 seat matrix is after 4:00 pm on 12.09.2026. Online choice filling and locking for verified candidates then runs from 6:00 pm on 12.09.2026 until 10:00 am on 14.09.2026.

Allotment, reporting and where to read the PDF

Publication of the Round-2 allotment result is after 6:00 pm on 15.09.2026. Reporting and admission at allotted institutes, with original documents, fees and bonds, is on 16.09.2026, 17.09.2026 and 18.09.2026, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. For private medical colleges, admission is at designated Government Medical Colleges in Kolkata. For private dental colleges, admission is at Dr. R Ahmed Dental College. Upgraded candidates must retrieve fees, documents and a relieving letter from their previous college before joining the new allotment.
