VARANASI: In a dramatic turn of events following the detention of Sigra outpost in-charge Sub-Inspector Shivakar Mishra, his wife, Shivani Mishra, has released a video on social media claiming her husband is innocent and the victim of a conspiracy. The Allegations:
- Framed: In the viral video, Shivani alleges that the Anti-Corruption Team forcibly detained her husband on false charges. She termed the action as "absolutely wrong" and baseless.
- Prior Threats: She revealed that her husband had previously mentioned receiving threats ("dekh lene ki dhamki") from an individual associated with the Anti-Corruption team. She believes this arrest is a result of a personal vendetta turned into a fake case.
Appeal for Justice:
- Demands Probe: Asserting her husband's innocence, Shivani has publicly appealed to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and the Varanasi District Magistrate to intervene and ensure a fair and impartial investigation into the matter.
