Varanasi News: Kashi Vishwanath Temple Announces Free VIP Entry for Women on March 8

Varanasi : Women devotees will receive special privileges at Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple on the occasion of International Women’s Day. The temple administration has announced that all women visiting the temple on March 8 will be allowed VIP darshan with free entry through Gate No. 4B.
According to temple authorities, the special arrangement will remain in place from the opening of the temple doors in the morning until closing time at night. Women devotees, whether from Varanasi or other parts of the country, will be able to enter through the designated gate without paying any fee.
Temple Chief Executive Officer Vishbhushan Mishra said the initiative is aimed at honoring women on International Women’s Day in the city of Lord Shiva. Women visitors will be escorted inside the temple premises and offered direct Jhanki darshan.
Special priority will also be given to women carrying infants so that they do not have to wait in long queues. The temple administration has completed all preparations and security arrangements, and instructions have been issued to all security points to ensure smooth entry.
Officials also clarified that the reserved darshan timings for local residents of Kashi will remain unchanged. These slots are scheduled from 4 am to 5 am and again from 4 pm to 5 pm. Special darshan arrangements will also continue as usual without any change.
