Varanasi Group Announces Protest Over Education and Paper Leaks

Varanasi, July 19, 2026: Sajha Sanskriti Manch has announced a protest and hunger strike in Varanasi over education policy and repeated concerns surrounding examination paper leaks.
The programme is planned for July 20. Organisers have demanded accountability for examination irregularities and the resignation of the Education Minister, arguing that repeated disruptions have affected students and job aspirants.
The group said the action would remain peaceful and would focus on education standards, transparent recruitment examinations and responsibility for paper-leak cases.
As the programme had not begun at the time of publication, its duration, attendance and any police or administrative response could not yet be assessed. The accompanying image is representative.
