Uttarakhand Round 1 NEET UG allotment is provisional till 28 August 4:00 pm

Until 4:00 pm today, Uttarakhand’s Round 1 allotment is still a draft the counselling board will take corrections on. Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical Education University’s notice, uploaded 27.08.2026, says the provisional result of UK NEET UG 2026 UG Counselling Round I has been published. Any discrepancy has to reach the Counselling Board by 4:00 pm on 28 August 2026 at ukneetcounselling@gmail.com. After that, the notice says, candidates may download their allotment letter.

The same line is printed at the top of the Provisional Broadsheet (Round-1), NEET-UG-2026, a 635-page file on the counselling portal. “The result is provisional. If any discrepancy is found the candidates can inform the University through the official email ID ukneetcounselling@gmail.com latest by 28-08-2026 up to 04:00 PM, after which result will be finalized and allotment letter will be uploaded on counselling portal.” The university homepage still points to “NEET UG 2026 Uttarakhand State Centralized Counselling.” The working login and announcement shelf this desk opened is meta-secure.com/HNBUMU_NEETUG/.

What 4:00 pm today actually closes

The 27 August notice is blunt on what a provisional result is not. It is “purely indicative in nature and subject to change.” A seat in that result “shall not confer any right or claim upon the candidate.” The provisional result “shall not be liable to be challenged before any Court of Law.” The broadsheet repeats that formula, with the extra clause that seats are provisionally allotted on information the candidate typed, subject to online verification and original documents at the allotted college. Fail to produce essential eligibility or reservation papers in original at admission, and “Allotment/admission stands cancelled.”

Mail the discrepancy to ukneetcounselling@gmail.com. The portal lists that mailbox under Controller of Examination, New Central Hope Town, Bhayakhala, Seshambara (Selaqui), Dehradun, Pin 248011. Helpline 8006516772 and technical support 7676593483 run 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on working days, with 1:00–2:00 pm marked as lunch. The notice does not accept a phone call as a substitute for the 4:00 pm email.

Allotment letters are not for 28 August morning. The notice says candidates may download them after 4:00 pm on 28 August 2026.

Freeze, float, and the 5 September joining date

The revised Round-1 schedule on the same portal (Word title “schedule REVIsed,” created 19 August 2026) moved result day to 27 August 2026 and last date of joining the allotted college to 5 September 2026. Registration, application, choice filling and fee had already been stretched to 24 August 2026, 5:00 pm server time. The earlier, unrevised schedule had result on 22 August and joining on 28 August. Use the revised file.

The information bulletin, also on that portal, is where freeze and float sit. Freeze means no upgradation: the candidate is satisfied with the Round 1 seat and must visit the allotted institute physically to join. Float means willing to upgrade in the next round: documents go up for online verification by the allotted institute; “there is no need to visit the allotted institute physically.” Both freeze and float candidates have to upload scanned documents on the university portal in the reporting window. The bulletin prefers that upload within two to three days. Freeze then does physical joining, document verification and fee at the college. Float stays online. A college that finds invalid papers can cancel the admission. None of that starts from a discrepancy email you have not yet sent, and none of it replaces the 4:00 pm clock.
