CHENNAI: Candidates aiming for two specialised postgraduate Allied Health Science seats in Tamil Nadu have one more day on the clock. Selection Committee Notification No. 1042/SCSII(1)/2026 dated 24 September says online applications for M.Sc Molecular Virology and M.Sc Neuro Surgical Care for the 2026-27 session are extended up to 25 September 2026 at 11:59 PM.

The notice states that many representations were received from candidates, and the Committee decided to extend the receipt of applications for these two courses after considering those requests. The PDF is hosted on tnmedicalselection.net under the PG Allied Health Science notifications.

Which courses and where they are taught

M.Sc Molecular Virology is offered at the King Institute of Preventive Medicine and Research, Guindy, Chennai, under the Tamil Nadu Dr M.G.R. This extension is narrower than the broader PG Allied Health Science deadline movement earlier in the week. It specifically names Molecular Virology and Neuro Surgical Care.
