Wrestler Yogeshwar Dutt Seeks Blessings at Kashi Vishwanath, Speaks on the Path of Moksha

Varanasi: Olympic medalist and celebrated Indian wrestler Yogeshwar Dutt visited the sacred city of Varanasi on Monday, where he offered prayers at the revered Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva.
Amid the spiritual atmosphere of the temple complex, Dutt was seen performing rituals with deep devotion. Wearing a marigold garland and folding his hands in reverence, the renowned sportsperson immersed himself in prayer, reflecting a moment of humility and faith.
Speaking to the media after his darshan, Yogeshwar Dutt shared his spiritual thoughts, saying, “Kashi Vishwanath ke darshan se jo shanti milti hai, woh shabdon mein bayaan nahi ki ja sakti. Moksha hi jeevan ka antim lakshya hai, aur Shiv bhakti uska maarg dikhati hai.” He emphasized that true fulfillment in life comes not only through achievements but through spiritual awakening and inner peace.
Despite the winter rush of devotees, the Olympic medalist’s presence drew significant attention. Devotees and fans gathered to catch a glimpse of him, some seeking blessings and others capturing moments with the sports icon. Security arrangements were in place as Dutt peacefully completed his darshan and rituals. His visit once again highlighted the timeless spiritual magnetism of Kashi, which continues to attract people from all walks of life — from saints and scholars to athletes and global icons.
