SOG–Chowk Police Crack Karnghanta Theft Case in Varanasi, Recover Over 2 Kg Gold; ₹1 Lakh Reward Announced

VARANASI: In a significant "Good Work" operation, a joint team of the Special Operations Group (SOG) and Chowk Police has successfully cracked the recent high-profile theft case in the Karnghanta area.
The police operation resulted in the arrest of five accused involved in the crime. The team recovered a massive haul of more than 2 kilograms of gold jewelry from their possession.
The successful team was led by SOG In-charge Gaurav Singh and Chowk SHO Dilip Kumar Mishra, along with several sub-inspectors and constables including Prakash Chauhan, Pushkar Dubey, and Alok Kumar Yadav. Appreciating the swift action and recovery, Police Commissioner Mohit Agarwal has announced a cash reward of ₹1 lakh for the police team.
