Three Injured as SUV Hits Motorcycle and Pedestrians in Sigra
Varanasi, June 6, 2026: Three people were injured after a black SUV struck a motorcycle and pedestrians in the Aurangabad area under Sigra police station before hitting a roadside shop and overturning.
The injured were identified as Ranganath Pandey, 30, from Mirzapur; Vishwambhar Nath Chaurasia, 72, from Jaddumandi; and Meeta Sonkar, 55, from Aurangabad. They were taken for treatment and were reported to be in stable condition.
Police identified the driver and registered a case under Sections 281, 125(B) and 324(4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. The vehicle was taken into custody as part of the investigation.
