GURUGRAM: Seeds Fincap Private Limited, a non-deposit-taking NBFC registered with the Reserve Bank of India, says on its website that it has an assets under management figure of Rs 718 crore plus and has disbursed Rs 1,521 crore plus since it began lending in April 2021. The company, which lists its corporate office in Sector 48, Gurugram, serves micro, small and medium enterprises in smaller towns and rural areas. All figures below are as shown on the website on 3 October 2026.
Who the company lends to
Seeds Fincap calls itself a lender focused on the credit gap for MSMEs. It says it supports entrepreneurs in Tier 2, Tier 3 and rural areas, from small traders to dairy farmers, with customised business loans and no collateral burden on its unsecured products. The website says more than 1,00,000 entrepreneurs have been served across 8 states: Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Uttarakhand.
It operates through 156 branches across 130 districts, according to the home page. The company says disbursement is cashless, directly into client bank accounts, and that repayments are collected through EMIs using NACH, UPI and other digital modes.
Products and how the business is built
The website lists four main loan products. An unsecured business loan runs from Rs 60,000 to Rs 2,00,000 for traders, manufacturers and service businesses, and is meant for owners with at least three years of experience. A secured business loan runs from Rs 2,00,000 to Rs 10,00,000 and is secured against residential or commercial property. A dairy loan, from Rs 70,000 to Rs 10,00,000, offers working capital to existing dairy farmers, and the company also lists supply chain finance and climate and impact finance. Interest rates and fees are not shown on the pages reviewed, so borrowers should ask a branch for the full terms.
Its Our Story page names three founders: Subhash Acharya, Avishek Sarkar and Sumeet Dhall. It says the company aims to be technology-first, customer-obsessed and impact-driven, and that in its first year it raised more than Rs 50 crore from 15 lenders and introduced a fully digital, cashless collection system.
The company also publishes a growth timeline. Assets under management were Rs 10 crore in September 2021, Rs 100 crore in August 2022, Rs 208 crore in March 2023, Rs 350 crore in May 2024, Rs 510 crore in March 2025 and more than Rs 715 crore in March 2026.
Funding, rating and recognition
On funding, the website says the company is Series A funded and backed by Lok Capital and Matrix Partners India, now shown as Z47. It does not give the size of that round on the pages reviewed. On credit quality, it reports a CRISIL rating of BBB-/Stable, which it says is an upgrade from BB+/Positive. A rating of this kind reflects the company's ability to repay its own borrowings.
Seeds Fincap also says it has been awarded the Orange Seal certification, linked to UN Sustainable Development Goal 5 on gender equality. Shakti is its initiative to employ and support women.
Dalimss News has not audited these figures, which are the company's own. Anyone considering a loan should compare terms across lenders and read the loan documents carefully before signing.
