Satish Mahana Begins Varanasi Visit

VARANASI: Uttar Pradesh Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana is scheduled to arrive in Varanasi by Vande Bharat on Thursday evening for a visit that combines temple worship with an event organised by the hotel and restaurant industry.

The programme places his arrival at Varanasi Cantt railway station at 7.50 pm, followed by an overnight stay at the Circuit House. On Friday, Mahana is expected to offer prayers at the Kashi Vishwanath temple. At 5.30 pm, he is scheduled to attend a Federation of Hotel and Restaurant Associations of India programme at the Taj Nadesar. He is due to leave for Lucknow on Saturday.

For residents, a high-profile visit is most immediately visible through movement arrangements around the station, Circuit House, Godowlia and the temple corridor. Police may regulate traffic for short periods as the convoy moves. Commuters should follow on-ground diversions and allow additional time instead of attempting to pass through a temporarily held junction.
