Samsung's own festive sale, Samsung Week 2026, started on 7 October on Samsung.com, the Samsung Shop App and Samsung Exclusive Stores. The headline numbers are big: up to 34% off select Galaxy phones, up to 60% off tablets and wearables, and cashback of up to Rs 25,000 on some products. As always, the useful question is what you actually pay for a specific phone.
So here is what Samsung.com showed for the Galaxy S26 range when we checked (price as of 8 October 2026, 1:30 AM IST). These are the listed selling prices before any bank discount, exchange or first-purchase benefit.
Galaxy S26 range: the listed prices
Galaxy S26, 12GB and 256GB: Rs 1,02,999, against an MRP of Rs 1,17,999. The 512GB version is Rs 1,22,999 against Rs 1,37,999.
Galaxy S26+, 12GB and 256GB: Rs 1,34,999, against an MRP of Rs 1,49,999. The 512GB version is Rs 1,54,999 against Rs 1,69,999.
Galaxy S26 FE, 8GB and 256GB: Rs 79,999, against an MRP of Rs 1,09,999. This is the biggest cut in the S26 family on paper, a Rs 30,000 gap between MRP and selling price.
So the S26 and S26+ are both Rs 15,000 below MRP on Samsung's store. That is the flat part of the deal. Anything beyond it depends on your card, your old phone and whether you qualify for Samsung's programmes.
The extra benefits, and the fine print
According to Samsung India's Samsung Week announcement, phone buyers can get instant bank discounts of up to Rs 10,000 on leading bank cards, multi-buy benefits of up to Rs 9,500 and Galaxy Forever benefits including up to 55% assured buyback and free Samsung Care+. First-time buyers on Samsung.com and the Shop App can get up to Rs 4,000 off, and the Student and Corporate Program offers up to 5% off phones.
Notice how many of those say "up to". The Rs 10,000 bank discount will apply to some cards on some models, not every card on every model. Multi-buy only helps if you are buying two or more products. The assured buyback is a promise about a future trade-in value, not money off today. Before you pay, add the phone to the cart, choose your card, and look at the final number on the payment page. That is the only price that matters.
Samsung's offer table names the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Z Fold8, Z Flip8, S26 Ultra and S26 among the phones covered, along with A series and M series models such as the Galaxy A57 5G and A37 5G.
Beyond phones
Samsung says Galaxy Book6, Book6 Pro, Book6 Ultra and Book 5 laptops are up to 31% off, with bank discounts of up to Rs 5,000. Tablets including the Galaxy Tab S12 series and wearables such as the Galaxy Watch 9 series and Galaxy Buds4 are listed at up to 60% off. TVs are up to 51% off, and appliances carry their own cashback caps.
The offer table is specific about which tablets and wearables are included: the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra, Tab S12+, Tab S11 series, Tab S10 Lite and Tab A11 series, plus the Galaxy Watch8, Watch 9 series, Watch Ultra 2, Buds4, Buds4 Pro and Buds Core. Samsung also lists loyalty points of up to 2% and exchange options across eligible products, so a Samsung account with points already in it may lower the bill a little further.
Should you buy now?
If you want an S26 and you were going to buy from Samsung anyway, Rs 1,02,999 before card offers is a reasonable entry point. The S26 FE at Rs 79,999 is the one to think harder about. The gap to the regular S26 is about Rs 23,000, and for many buyers the FE will be enough phone.
