Music Studio 5 at Rs 22,990
The Music Studio 5 is the cheaper of the two home speakers. Samsung's page lists a 2.0 channel speaker with three drivers, Bluetooth 6.0, Wi-Fi and an optical input. It supports Dolby Atmos Music, Chromecast, Spotify Connect, AirPlay and Alexa built in, and it works with Q-Symphony and is Roon Ready.
It weighs 2.4 kg and measures 25.1 cm wide, 28.35 cm high and 13.7 cm deep. Samsung lists no HDMI port on it, so it is a music speaker and not a television speaker. The page names an operating power consumption of 15 W, which is a figure for the power it draws and not its sound output.
Music Studio 7 at Rs 38,990
The Music Studio 7 costs Rs 16,000 more than the Music Studio 5. For that, Samsung's page lists a 3.1.1 channel speaker with five drivers, including up-firing and side-firing drivers, and the listing name gives 150W. It has the same Bluetooth 6.0, Wi-Fi, Chromecast, AirPlay and Spotify Connect list, and it adds an HDMI output with eARC and HDMI CEC.
It is heavier at 5.6 kg and measures 18.5 cm wide, 26.9 cm high and 19.05 cm deep. It also supports Dolby TrueHD in addition to Dolby Atmos, which the cheaper model does not list. Samsung says neither speaker includes a wireless subwoofer or rear speakers.
Sound Tower ST50F at Rs 41,700
The ST50F is the larger party speaker. Samsung's page gives 240W of total power on mains and 90W on battery, with a replaceable battery rated for 18 hours. It is rated IPX4 for water resistance, runs on built-in wheels and weighs 18.4 kg, and it is 35.3 cm wide, 73.6 cm high and 36.5 cm deep.
For parties, the page lists six types of party lighting, four types of DJ effects, 12 sampler sounds, a karaoke mode with voice removal, one microphone input and one microphone or guitar input. It plays music by Bluetooth with the SBC and AAC codecs, from USB, or from a wired input, and it supports Auracast broadcast audio. Samsung's page gives a launch date of 12 January 2026.
Sound Tower ST40F at Rs 28,700
The ST40F is the smaller tower and its listing name gives 160W. It costs Rs 13,000 less than the ST50F. Samsung's ST40F product page did not load for us, so this report gives only its listing name and price.
How the four compare on price
The dearest speaker costs Rs 41,700, or about 1.8 times the cheapest at Rs 22,990. The two towers cost Rs 28,700 and Rs 41,700, and the two home speakers sit either side of the ST40F at Rs 22,990 and Rs 38,990. The Music Studio 7 costs Rs 2,710 less than the ST50F, so it is a different kind of buy: a home speaker with a television connection and not a portable party speaker.
What to check before you buy
Decide first whether you need a speaker for the living room or a speaker for gatherings, since the two ranges do different jobs. Check the HDMI port if you want to connect a television. The speakers are listed on Samsung India's audio page.
