In a significant step towards empowering underprivileged children through education, a newly constructed school block comprising 8 classrooms was inaugurated on Sunday at the Round Table Abhinav School in Mirzamurad. The initiative was led by Varanasi Round Table 196 and Varanasi Ladies Circle 129, further strengthening their commitment to social development through education.

The event commenced with a warm welcome of the guests followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. The occasion was graced by distinguished dignitaries including Tabler Vishnu Prabhakar (National Vice President, Round Table India), Tabler Nikhil Agarwal (Area Chairman, Area 8), and Circler Pragati Gupta Saxena (National Secretary, Ladies Circle India).

Mrs. Smriti, Director of Wattpower Foundation, was also present as a special guest, acknowledging her significant contribution to the project. Other notable contributors included Mr. Dev Shankar Pandey, Mr. Abhinav Pandey, Mr. Swaitabh Pandey, Mr. Ankit Agarwal, and from Lucknow, Mrs. Aparna and Mr. Ravi Narayan, who added grace to the occasion.

Speakers at the event emphasized that meaningful societal change begins with small, consistent efforts. Under the mission “Freedom Through Education” by Round Table India and Ladies Circle India, this initiative continues to provide quality education to hundreds of children, shaping their future with hope and opportunity.

The cultural performances by the students, including Saraswati Vandana, group songs, and other presentations, added an emotional and inspiring touch to the ceremony. Donors and contributors were also felicitated for their support.

Following the inauguration, guests toured the newly constructed building and interacted with the students. School bags and refreshments were distributed among the children.

The success of the event was made possible through the dedicated efforts of Mr. Ashutosh Kumar (Chairman, Varanasi Round Table 196), Ms. Aastha Agarwal (Chairperson, Varanasi Ladies Circle 129), along with Shrivats, Ishita Agarwal, Anchit Thukral, Shubhi Agarwal, and project associate Darsh Agarwal. The event was skillfully anchored by former Round Table Chairman Dhaval Prakash Agarwal.

Notably, this project, which began in 2015, has now expanded to 32 classrooms, providing education to approximately 435 students (228 boys and 207 girls).

This is not just the inauguration of a building, but a powerful step towards giving wings to hundreds of dreams and shaping a brighter future.
