BENGALURU: Prodoc AI, a healthcare software company that sells what it calls a Patient Journey OS for hospitals, has raised an undisclosed seed round led by the Dr A. Velumani Family Office, according to a company blog post dated 30 September 2026 and signed by chief executive Asit Vidyarthi. Participants include Dr Kunal Shet and Parth D. Bhasin, whom the company describes as existing users of its platform.

The company did not disclose the size of the round, the valuation or the equity share sold. Dalimss News is therefore reporting the financing as seed funding of an undisclosed amount, based solely on Prodoc AI's own announcement on its website.

What the company builds

Prodoc AI says hospitals already run many systems, from call centres and WhatsApp lines to outpatient clinics, diagnostics, discharge and follow-up, but those touchpoints often sit in separate tools and teams. Its product is pitched as an intelligence layer that sits alongside existing hospital information systems and electronic medical records rather than replacing them.

According to the company blog and website, the platform covers patient acquisition, CRM, partner and referral management, outpatient intelligence, care coordination and Voice AI, among other hospital workflows. The next phase, Vidyarthi wrote, is deeper Agentic AI so that the software can flag what needs attention and what should happen next, instead of only describing what already happened.

The company positions this as connecting enquiry, appointment, consultation, inpatient care and post-discharge follow-up into one operational view for hospital teams. How deeply that works in live hospital settings depends on integration quality, which Prodoc says spans more than fifty software connections, another company figure.

Claimed scale and use of funds

Prodoc AI says it works with more than 100 hospitals, manages more than one million patient engagements a month and supports more than 50 software integrations. Those figures appear on both the funding post and the company homepage. They are company claims and were not independently audited for this report. The homepage also shows a higher hospital count in places; this story sticks to the "100+" wording used in the seed announcement.

The company says the new capital will go toward Agentic AI and AI agents, deeper integrations with hospital technology systems, and more intelligence in patient and operational workflows. The Dr A. Velumani Family Office is described by Prodoc as the family investment office of Dr A. Velumani, who founded diagnostics firm Thyrocare Technologies. That background is as stated by the company.

What remains unclear

Because the round size is undisclosed, it is not possible to compare the financing with other Indian healthcare AI seeds or to judge dilution. Prodoc AI has not published revenue, customer retention, average contract value or clinical outcome data on the pages reviewed for this story.

Hospitals evaluating such tools typically look for integration depth with their existing HIS or EMR, data protection compliance under Indian rules, and clear ownership of patient records. Prodoc AI lists its office at Brigade Metropolis in Mahadevapura, Bengaluru, and publishes contact addresses on its website. This report is based on the company's 30 September 2026 blog post and its public site.
