Pali Weather Update: Heatwave Hits 37.5°C; Will Western Disturbance Bring Relief on March 11?

Unusual heat has been recorded in Pali at the beginning of March, with temperatures rising sharply in the second week of the month. On Sunday, the maximum temperature reached 37.5°C, while Saturday recorded the hottest day of the season so far at 38.2°C.
Residents experienced May-like heat during the afternoon due to strong sunlight over the past two days. This is reportedly the first time in six years that the temperature has crossed 37°C in early March.
Despite the high daytime temperatures, the night temperature remains relatively low at 12.6°C. According to the India Meteorological Department, Pali ranked sixth among 34 monitoring stations across the state on Sunday.
Meteorologists say a Western Disturbance may become active on March 11–12, which could bring a slight relief with temperatures expected to drop by 1–2°C. However, officials have clarified that there is no immediate possibility of rainfall, though cloud movement or changes in wind patterns may offer minor relief.
