OnePlus Watch 2R at Rs 9,999 in Amazon early deal

NEW DELHI: The OnePlus Watch 2R is listed at Rs 9,999 in Amazon India's early deals for the Great Indian Festival, which begins on 8 October. The smartwatch runs Wear OS and promises up to 100 hours of battery life in Smart Mode, according to OnePlus.

Amazon names the price in its early deals announcement, where it describes the watch as having a 1.43-inch AMOLED display, a Snapdragon W5 chipset, dual-frequency GPS, Bluetooth calling, health tracking and more than 100 sports modes. The announcement does not mention any bank condition for the Rs 9,999 price, although Amazon says SBI card holders get a 10 per cent instant discount during the festival.

The watch is available in Forest Green and Gunmetal Gray, as per the OnePlus India product page. It takes standard 22mm straps, which makes swapping the strap later straightforward.

Battery is the headline feature

OnePlus quotes up to 100 hours of battery life in Smart Mode and up to 12 days in Power Saver mode. Fast charging is also listed, with 10 minutes on the charger giving roughly 24 hours of use. For people who forget to charge their wearables, those numbers matter more than any single sensor.

The figures are company claims, not independent test results, and depend on settings such as always-on display, GPS use and notifications. Heavy users who run GPS workouts daily should expect far lower numbers than the headline ones, and the 12-day figure needs the most restrictive power setting.
