Admit cards for the UGC-NET June 2026 re-examination in three subjects are out. The National Testing Agency Public Notice dated 04 September 2026, subject Release of Admit Card for UGC-NET June 2026-reg., sits on the NTA download path Notice_20260904214736.pdf. The local copy is a one-page scanned letterhead with CreationDate Fri Sep 4 13:08:20 2026 UTC, which is 18:38 IST. Logos on the page include NTA, the State Emblem, and UGC, under the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education. The notice is signed by the Director (Exams), NTA.

This is an admit-card release for a re-conduct, not a full UGC-NET result round-up and not a scorecard day for every June paper. The notice refers to an earlier public notice dated 16 August 2026 and states that NTA is re-conducting UGC-NET June 2026 for English, Commerce and Sociology at various centres across the country on 09th September 2026 and 10th September 2026. Only those three subjects sit on this re-exam admit-card order.

City slip first, admit card on 4 September

Candidates were earlier informed of examination city and date through the Advance City Intimation Slip issued on 01 September 2026. That city slip is not the admit card. It told you the city and the date. The 04 September notice says admit cards for candidates scheduled on 09 and 10 September 2026 have been released today, 04 September 2026.

Download the admit card and the required undertaking from https://ugcnet.nta.nic.in/ using login credentials. Read the instructions on the card and the undertaking carefully before exam day. Carry what the admit card and undertaking ask for; the public notice does not reprint a separate document checklist on its face. The notice also does not reprint shift timings, centre addresses, or a subject-wise centre list on this one-page file. Those details ride on the downloaded admit card and the portal once you log in.

If you face difficulty downloading the admit card or find an error in the particulars, the notice points to the NTA Helpdesk at 011-40759000 and email ugcnet@nta.ac.in. Do not read this file as a declaration of UGC-NET results for all subjects, as a new application window, as a change to papers outside English, Commerce and Sociology, or as a substitute for the 16 August re-exam decision notice. The re-exam dates on this 04 September notice are 9 and 10 September 2026 for those three subjects only. City intimation was 1 September; admit cards are dated 4 September; the papers follow on 9 and 10 September.

By the morning of 7 September 2026 IST, admit cards have been on the portal for three days and the first re-exam date is two days away. Download early enough to fix credential or particular errors through the helpdesk before you travel. If the portal rejects a login, use the phone and mail on the notice rather than waiting until the evening of 8 September.
