How to apply, selection steps and contract caveats

Candidates send applications to the email id in the vacancy notification, duly mentioning the primary language in the subject line. The practical assessment may cover typing speed and accuracy in the two claimed languages, reading and writing proficiency, proofreading, transcription and formatting, MS Office, basic PDF handling, MIS or report preparation, and familiarity with MathType and InDesign where applicable. Final selection is at the discretion of the competent authority. Mere fulfilment of eligibility does not confer a right to shortlisting or selection. NTA reserves the right to increase or decrease positions, modify language-wise deployment, or not fill any position.

The engagement is direct contractual engagement for a defined period and does not confer any right to regularisation, permanent absorption or appointment to any regular post. Either side may terminate with one month's written notice; NTA may terminate without notice for unsatisfactory performance, misconduct, breach of confidentiality or security, or violation of terms. Selected personnel must execute a Non-Disclosure Agreement before joining, work in a controlled environment, and keep all documents and data confidential during and after the engagement. Unauthorised disclosure can lead to termination, financial recovery and civil or criminal action as applicable.
