No Delay Policy: Varanasi Mayor Warns Agencies of Heavy Fines Over Project Delays.

In a decisive move to accelerate the city's infrastructure growth, Varanasi Mayor Ashok Kumar Tiwari has issued a strict ultimatum to construction agencies and officials: complete development projects within the stipulated timeframe or face heavy financial penalties.
The "Zero Tolerance" Policy: During a high-level review meeting held at the Smart City Auditorium on Tuesday, the Mayor expressed dissatisfaction with the pace of ongoing works. He directed agencies to immediately increase manpower (laborers) and resources. "Delays in projects related to public amenities will not be accepted. If the work is not completed by the deadline, the concerned agency will be fined," he stated.
