New Delhi — Political developments in Bihar have intensified after Chief Minister Nitish Kumar resigned from his post, triggering speculation over who will lead the state next.
According to sources, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has scheduled a crucial meeting in Delhi on April 10 to discuss the formation of a new government in Bihar and finalize the name of the next Chief Minister.
The meeting is expected to bring together several senior leaders from the party’s Bihar unit as well as top central leadership. It will reportedly be chaired by BJP’s national president Nitin Nabin.
Prominent leaders from Bihar including state president Sanjay Saraogi, Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha are expected to attend the meeting.
Sources also indicate that senior leaders such as Nityanand Rai, Sanjay Jaiswal, organization leaders Bhikhubhai Dalsania and Nagendra Nath will be part of the discussions.
Additionally, Bihar government ministers including Dilip Jaiswal and Mangal Pandey have also reportedly been invited.
The meeting is expected to play a decisive role in shaping the political future of Bihar, as party leaders deliberate on the most suitable candidate to take charge of the state.
